It's not really Motown, it's just a song inspired by that genre of music, like Tell Me was inspired by 80's music, etc.

Thank GOD. I thought they were doing some cover of a Motown song...no offense, but I can't envision that turning out well.

I hope the song turns out like NEW LOOK (in that it is amazing). They are forced to create an amazing single since we aren't getting a new album anytime soon. =P

Only three of the girls in the group can acually sing, so I don't think a song like that would turn out well either.

The song we heard in the MV teaser was actually a ballad version of Nobody, so just imagine a more upbeat version of that.

OMG! I hope not because if they do, all of the gawddamn Namie fans on JPM and AHS are just gonna go in the WG thread and start a big ass deal about how they ripped off the "hag kween uff heep-paapu" for 758758757th time. I agree. I don't really see how this is copying Namie. She's not the first person to have an MV inspired by the 60's/70's.
The Dreamgirls thing bugs me as well. I don't think they were so much "trying to be Dreamgirls" as it was they were inspired by the 60's motown girl groups.

^EXACTLY. Dreamgirls were never real. It's a play/movie inspired from the same era that the Wonder Girls new single is inspired by. If anything - compare it to The Supremes or any other girl group from back then who were actually real and did things like this instead of a fictional group based on it.
