OK I listened to it a little it more and it's not as bad as I had thought... but it's still fail. What happened to you, Arashi?

I think 2007 had better music than 2008 for Arashi.

I checked their discography,
and yeah, 2007 was better because,
all of those 3 singles are some of my favorites.

2008 was OK,
though I didn't like the singles as a whole :\

No, it's not like they're making KAT-TUN-level music... but I still am disappointed cuz 2007 was such an amazing year from them.

I don't think this year was that bad for them.
But I think that last year's album is WAY better than this years. Dream "A" Live could've been so much better, but I was a bit underwhelmed. =/
Other than that album, I think Arashi's having a good year musically~

2008 has been pretty good! I personally didn't really like Step and Go, I thought it was quite weak. But in the end I enjoyed Dream "A"live! One Love is really good tho, especially How to fly. <3

I still love Time the best though, 'twas my first. But I started listening to JE in like, December?

i feel ashamed to say that i JUST listened to time yesterday, lol. i love "oh yeah!" and "ROCK YOU". but i thought this album had slower songs compared to the ones on "Dream "A" live".

I've been a fan of theirs for like 3 years, but I still think Time is their best album. Dream "A"live can't even be compared to it, IMO Time is just too good!

^I totally agree with you. Time showcases a lot of different genres and the album is just really solid. D"A"L is good, but it could've been WAY better~
But with their newest singles, I have a feeling that the new album will be really good. I think they might have another album out by the end of the year, that way next year they can have a 10th Anniversary Album. At least that's what I'd like.
And yes austin, How to fly is amazing, they better put that on the album~

yeah. i think "Time" was tons better than "Dream'A'live". i haven't even bought DAL yet. the period i really, really liked Arashi was Sakura Sake single to Time album.

i still love them now, of course, but they're really going mainstream, thus less experimental material ("truth" has been one of the better songs of late, imo). & Sho's rapping less and less by the moment.

Oh Yeah ! & ROCK YOU are awesome & Nino's solo Niji is just amazing .

You can definitely tell that compared to DAL , Time's a more stronger music effort .

I enjoyed Time a lot more than DAL although I must say overall I still believe that ARASHIC's their strongest album , musically

I'm not sure why but it's probably due to Kitto Daijoubu or maybe it's because of the 5 pickup songs that I really dig a lot especially I Want Somebody which I'm currently using it as my ringtone

Unlike the other albums I have listened of ARASHI , I needed a bit more time than before to get used to DAL considering that there were only 2 singles on the record

the drama didn't do well either in Korea...maybe it's cursed? lol

yay Time and One are my fav 2 arashi albums ever
i loooove DAL though! every song actually

im enjoying their music this year just as much as last year personally...or maybe im just blinded by my biased'ism' of everything that contains arashi is full of win

Maou - I'm not sure , maybe not everyone digs the whole suspense drama thing going on or probably they're not used to seeing Ohno being all twisted up mind & mental wise onscreen

One - it's surprising that even though only Sakura Sake's included on the album , I enjoyed One quite a lot

The non singles are really good which surprises me

DAL - some parts of the album are quite samey & un-memorable but as time goes by , I enjoyed the album just like the rest

Maou - yup that's true , I see where you're coming from .

One - I know , I was shocked that only Sakura Sake was included . They should have slotted in Hitomi no Naka no Galaxy / Hero though although I must say the non singles on the album are nice !

especially tracks like Days , Natsu no Namae & Subarashiki Sekai

DAL - the album's a grower for sure

Koe's <3 & so are the other tracks like YOUR SONG , Once Again .

not really feeling the album sleeve pics though , they all looked so pissy for some reason/s

then again their album sleeve pics are not that nice to begin with

Hitomi no Naka no Galaxy / Hero was just a promo single for their best album. It wasn't meant to be on One.

I like Hey Hey Lovin' You , it's quite interesting that all the songs on the single all start with H

DAL - I was reading Teens magazine & that they gave quite a bad review on DAL although they gave 3/5 overall which led me to wonder is the album that bad to begin with ?

It's not , really . You just need more time to warm up to the non singles that's all

I love Yes ? No ? & Subarashiki Sekai especially Subarashiki Sekai . The music transition from the song to Sakura Sake is there

I don't think JE groups in general are really album-artists, they're more geared to DVDs and singles. That's why their albums do crap sales compared to their singles. I think all of Arashi's albums are like that except Time. D"A"L is just an average JE album.

I understand where you're coming from triple D especially since you usually don't associate JE acts as strong album sellers but rather as strong single sellers

I think it always have been the norm for them to sell more singles & albums
