i haven't listened to any of their albums released prior to "Iza, Now" other than the best albums, but i really dislike "Dream'A'live". and everything else they released this year except for "truth".

but yeah, "One" is also another weak album of theirs, imo.

EDIT: guess which drama got a 21.2% ep 1 rating?

but there's still "Innocent Love" waiting in the corner. i'm really curious since it got the golden timeslot (...right? LOL) if it could beat RnK. or the other 20%+ first ep, "Kaze no Garden."

and RnK had higher ep 1 ratings than "Hana Yori Dango 2 (Returns)" (19.4%). CRAZY.

i guess no one really liked ohno in maou as much as they love nino in RnK. but maou was such a good drama, though.

anyway, WE STILL NEED TO SEE A PV PREVIEW OF BEAUTIFUL DAYS!

i think it's because Nino is one of the more recognizable Arashi actors, like MatsuJun. Maou was Ohno's first leading role, or at least his first in a really really really long time, right? that could explain the ratings.

AND RYO IS IN RnK. lol. probably people are curious about his first role after Last Friends, just like me.

Yeah, I'm wondering about Innocent Love as well. I thought of watching it before this, y'know..but I wonder if I have the time, since assignments and final exams are around the corner.

& "Iza, Now" is my favorite Arashi album too. along with "ARASHIC".

I like Iza , Now & if not for the fact that Kitto Daijoubu's in ARASHIC , I would say that Time's my fave album from the guys

but since KD's included in ARASHIC , it's a tie with Time for me

Apparently this is one of the highest ratings for first episode since 2000 & it's even higher than what HYD obtained :O

Maybe "Maou" got so low ratings, because at the exact same time another channel was broadcasting Ghibli movies? xD Who knows?
Well, ratings don't necessarily reflect the greatness of a dorama. Same with sales for CDs and the like.

the olympics were also airing, so maybe that's why, too. but i still enjoyed maou.

yeah me too & considering that it was Ohno's 1st acting role in a drama , he did an amazing job with it alongside with Ikuta Toma

I still think that it's sad that Naruse didn't return the affections of Shiori in the show

sorry Lisa but I think Ohno & Kobayashi Ryoko (who plays Shiori) made a cute pair in Maou even though Kobayashi's like what 10 years younger than Ohno

& yes I know the last episode was so depressing

OMG YAY RnK!!! But this was pretty expected - no? This drama was HELLA promoted! Didn't they start promoting in like - August or something? And they were EVERYWHERE! I hope the ratings stay consistent!

And about Maou's ratings - it doesn't really matter how they did compared to Code Blue. Because in the end Code Blue and Yamapi didn't win an award just like it should be. Both were terrible!!

^ but, the Nikkan Sports Drama Award was FAN VOTES (and you could even re-vote). not decided upon by a specific counsel like the Television Drama Awards.

we'll see how "Maou" does at the TV Drama Awards. and kaori gurl, you're just heavily biased against "Code Blue."

it was like how "Yuukan Club" won everything at the Nikkan awards, but "Galileo" won the TV Drama awards. and IMO, Galileo >>>>>>> Yuukan Club. for sure.
