For her next tour, if she does another one, I want her to perform 3 songs and go home. Ha.

I wonder if she'd still sell out haha

But Hikki's voice sounds fine on HEART STATION. She of course uses studio magic to fix any problems. I actually find it has her most ~emotionally charged~ vocal performances, especially "Flavor of Life" and "Prisoner of Love".

I'm with tana. How does disliking one of Hikki's albums make you a "hater"? I own all of her albums except for Heart Station, but by some moron's flawed logic I'm considered a "hater" because I found Heart Station disappointing as well. Anyone who says that isn't a fan, it means they're obsessed with Hikki to the point they can't hear anything even slightly negative said about her, even if it's constructive. That's what they call "obsession", and it isn't healthy.

... Anyways, has there been any updates on her upcoming English album? The lack of information being released is making me wonder if this is actually going to happen.

o_O I feel like I stepped into a war.

Like Kaori asked, any news of Hikki's upcoming English album? I'm really wondering what kind of sounds she's going to use this time. I loved Exodus' lyrics and sounds, but I think a lot of people didn't really like how they sounded...so I wanna know what her approach is this time.

Hm, I believe she is working on it...and as we all know it's going to come out 2009 Definitely not by the end of this year. Hikki is not a procrastinator, she gets things done so I think she is working on it and making us die here with no news until the very end x_x

also that she commented about the genre of the album. It's going to be different from her usual stuff.

Will she produce all of her English album in the US or does she do any of it in Japan?

I read somewhere that when she does her English material, she completes it all here in the US.

@ at these people who have never been in the Hikki thread except to stir up drama.

Anyway, I love HEART STATION so much! It's so great! Every single song is amazing! Even 6 months later it's still sooo great!

DEEP RIVER and ULTRA BLUE are my fave albums. HEART STATION is good, just kinda wished Flavor Of Life -Ballad Version- wasn't on there. It really doesn't belong.

I agree with the previous posts - HEART STATION is amazing, at least to me. It's one of the first albums I listened from beginning to end (bad, I know, I'm trying to change), and it was fantastic. It just flowed so well as an album and wasn't simply a collection of tracks. I could gush on and on about it, but I'll stop here.

Kuma-chan reads the New York Times?

Utada has updated her official blog with new photos of Kuma-chan reading an English language newspaper. Upon further inspection, it appears that he is looking at the Dining section of the November 12th issue of the New York Times. While it’s possible that the paper was purchased in Japan, it seems likely (given other evidence) that Utada is currently in New York working on her upcoming English album.

Hopefully she is! =O
