I don't think QoP is that good. =/ I was quite disappointed actually, but to everyone their own, right? If this is their best album, I don't even want to listen to the others. Some of the lyrics seem so stupid ("HELL NO") and Koki had better rap lyrics ("HELL NO"). Yay for variety, but I thought they'd stick to a rock-dance-hip-hop-ish sound.

frankly outta the 3 albums that the guys have put out , cartoon KAT-TUN II you is my least fave , I hated it a LOT when I 1st heard it man

I guess all the hype about the album made me expect that I'll like it, too, but when I listened to it the first time it left me with a not-so-good-feeling. Some songs have grown on me since then, though. The bonus tracks are some of the best on the album, so I'm glad I got the LE.
It was my very first KAT-TUN album. Haven't listened to the others so far, only to a few songs.

And I meant that Koki used to have better rap lyrics. YnUs were so clever, with the single titles. But "HELL NO"? Hell no!!

guess I'm lucky in a way I came onboard after the release of QoP because I seriously adore the album a lot & that gave me the motivation to listen to their 2 albums backwards in which I like Best of KAT-TUN as well

& yes I agree with you , the bonus tracks on QoP are fantastic , I'm still sore that they didn't performed SHOT ! live in the QoP tour DVD alongside with AFFECTION ～もう戻れない～ & DISTANCE

rap lyrics - yup I like Yorokobi no Uta's rap lyrics too

^I like "SHOT" the least out of the bonus tracks. "DISTANCE" starts off nice, but the chorus kinda ruined it for me. "AFFECTION ~mou modorenai~" grew on me, it's a nice-ish RnPop ballad.

In 2002 they performed a song on Music Station called LOVE or LIKE. I've never actually seen the full performance though. Music Station had some special where they showed artists first performances on the show which is where I saw the clip.

I never knew they were performing on music shows that early they should have debuted in 03 instead of NEWS

I love SHOT ! the song was felt more loved when I saw them doing it live on SCP but Akame's outfits were

oh I didn't know that they did LOVE or LIKE back then

that song's cool , in fact I pretty much like all the songs that they did when they were Juniors , I mean those that so far make the cut in their albums

IMO, i thought QOP was really well executed.
it's definitely their "hardest" album in terms of style & whatnot. it's very modern and nothing compared to other JE albums. i can't think of one to compare it to, really. that's one of the reasons why i like it. it's not typical idol pop.

but tbh, for people getting into KAT-TUN's music, i'd try "Best of KAT-TUN" first. it's more ear-friendly? i guess, lol. it's definitely more "Johnny's", but very KAT-TUN too. i adore TaNaka's "ONE ON ONE". debut & on, you'll find more harder rock and experimental tracks from them.

so agree with you , I don't think QoP's worth comparing against another Johnny's album as it's so good that it hurts big time

TaNaka's ONE ON ONE is as well . Nakamaru's great at singing at this tune & for Tanaka to balance it out with his rapping it's perfect
