that's what I thought too I really had hopes this album could outsell GUILTY, but I guess the economic crisis has killed the sales in general. Especially during the last 3 weeks.

I echo the same thing as you , I thought with 4 different editions , she might be able to pull things off but the economic crisis has somehow dampen the situation

I dunno how "dance" it is in NL, but the "da da da da wowwowwow... wow wow wow" (WHATEVER) keeps hitting my brain rite now LOL. I guess one of the reasons I love Sparkle is the "da da da da" reminds me about WHATEVER

But... I dun think LOVEppears is "dance" tho. For me, I feel like it's more about visual techno.

And I dun think it's that bad. Let's say for the next few days her sales will be between 20 - 40K, then it's safe to say that the overall first week sales will be around 220K to 250K. Not too bad as there's not much promotion for this album.

And you have to count for two facts about GUILTY: 1 - It was released when the economy was still extremely good; 2 - It was released at x'mas time. Not saying it will help a lot (as Japan doesn't celebrate x'mas), but I think the Japanese still get a little bit hyper for a western festival rite?

I never expect this album will outsell GUILTY in the first place. As time goes by there'll be less hardcore fans and it's logical to see the sales number will decrease. The point is, we should look for the longevity instead. First week (and maybe extend to second week) sales probly reflect how many hardcore fans she has. Of course there're always more than 1 version so it's hard to say how many fans buying all versions. But I assume the economy is suffering rite now, so there'll be less fans buying more than 1 version. (I'm dragging too far from my main point) The longevity of this album may show how well this album is received by the general public. Probly it will still sell lesser than the previous album, but as long as it enters 500K in the end, I think it's already a good sign.

^ They don't do index numbers anymore. The numbers you see are the numbers they are.

It's still pretty good. Low sales are showing in all of the Top Tens there, it's not just Ayu's sales which are low.

I'm pleasantly surprised she's beating Hikki, when she had much higher Ninki xDD

Wow, I didn't think it would drop to less than 50,000 already...
The USB are really counted today? It looks like they did yesterday already -_-.
Anyway the sales are good but I guess the last weeks made everyone underperform (namie, hikki, BoA and now ayu...).

I still hope for some consistency and smaller drops.

oh really? didn't know that.

Well maybe not then! It's a pity since NEXT LEVEL is such a good album.
