ahhh this single turned out to be so good!!! crossroad at first from that 30 second preview was GARBAGE to me. and i LOVE the full song haha. It has such an "epic" feel. A lot better than moon and blossom for me. same scale as you were... and ballad.
seven days war is nice. the lyrics are so nice i cant resist (even though its a cover). the MOON remix is not my fav, blossom one is cute. the clockwerk 1 is meh. |

I don't understand why people complain about Ayu doing covers, for me SEVEN DAYSA WUH is awesome. It's one of my favorite songs by her already!
There's nothing wrong with doing a cover of a song, especially if you make the cover sound better than the original! |

the blossom remix sounds like noise to me, haha.
unfortunately... was looking forward to it. but i prob won't listen to that much. orchestra versions are fantastic. but i'm a sucker for them anyway

Updated crossroad comments (with orchestra versions!):
crossroad is great. No idea why I didn't like it that much before, but suddenly something just clicked. It has a catchy melody, good vocals, great instrumentation and fantastic lyrics! Not a new fave or anything at the moment, but a great, great song anyway. SEVEN DAYS WAR was, unfortunately, a bit bland. I think it's because of the composition (her voice I love here): the verses are great, but the choruses are pretty anti-climactic. The very last choruses are better, but at that point I'm tired of the song already. Aside from that, the instrumentation is a bit too tame. I hear guitar in the end, but it's too quiet to be energising when I want it to go WILD and rock out like hell. blossom (Clockwork yellow remix) is still aweome! Some really catchy instrumentation carries the song greatly and the choruses are still sexy. Love this remix. blossom (Orchestra version)... Wow, I might even like this one better than the original! I love the verses with just piano and the chorus is great too. The awesome guitar solo is gone, but I can live without it when I can hear Ayu's voice so clearly and it's beautiful MOON (Orchestra version) is good too. Not as great as the original for me, but good nonetheless. Love ending with just the instruments playing the melody of the chorus.  So yeah, in the end, the crossroad single turned out very good. As far as A-sides go, MOON wins (I'm sorry but I just LOVE that song), but crossroad's remixes were top-notch and beat MOON's easily.  (sorry if my 'mini-review' turned out a bit rant-y... x_x) |

Ayu has been going up recently for me! Totally re-in love again like a new fan at the moment. I don't know if it helped that I have always been setting myself up to be disappointed. But since Sunrise/Sunset, things keep going up and these songs sound great! Catchy, great lyrics and her voice....best in a long time. These totally fit the voice she has.

orchestra versions have completely brought out the beauty of the original songs.
I wish they were the originals lol these remixes have shown what a great song blossom can be. I totally didn't even give the original another glance with that arrangement it's got. But now...wow. the ending of Moon orchestra version...  its gorgeous.This single is fantastic. Every track is wonderful...even if seven days war is a little bland for me...the single is definitely one of her most solid.
