What I meant is, after the tsunami, she wanted to appear on the Music Station, but she had to ask for it, as they didn't invite her. And on that same TA Diary entry, she said that she hadn't been invited very much to TV in a long time

Looking back at her TA diary (on 03/19/11), it seems more like she said that because she hadn't really released anything in that period.

Her appearances on shows have been rather nonexistent during release periods anyway... especially recently. I remember NEXT LEVEL was promoted with like one performance of Rule? I think it's just gotten to the point where she likely just isn't as interested in performing on TV unless there's something pushing her to do so. (like the quake, or being invited which may have been what happened for FNS)

So it's nearly been about a year since then with one album inbetween that got mostly radio promotion. We'll see when her next release comes out and hopefully the Tales of Xillia 2 song gets promoted more like Love song than You & Me.

Anyway, I highly doubt she was actually banned and she's just been slowly pulling back on TV performances in the last few years to the point where they rarely ever happen at all.

You know, if it was that easy to get A SUMMER BEST (i.e. walk into any store a la Shibuya), I would actually buy it.

I paid no shipping at YA - but that's because it was over $39 >_< $40 bucks for a CD is just insane. And before anyone points out that I got the 2CD+DVD, my copies of I am and RAINBOW were $32

^^Yeah, I just bought the 2 photobooks + ayu deji deji nikki mini + asia tour 2007 DVD from yesasia, and there was no shipping. Phew!

I've searched numerous times, and nothing. They DO have a store that carries issues of ViVi, which is where I always get mine when I find one with ayu on the cover. I managed to get the naked talk one, and I was so happy!

That reminds me, there is a place where I live that sells JPop. Problem is, its all HK press (with the obscure JP press). I saw Uncontrolled (JP) there, however.
Maybe I'll brave the heat and go check in the next few days.

Let's see... I think December 2007 maybe? I remember it was around Christmas because I ordered them and was so sad they didn't get here in time - or so I thought. My mom surprised me and I cried T__T

Same. My mom doesn't either; every time I get an Ayu CD, she goes on about how lovely it is compared to American ones, with the obi, etc. And she knows how much I appreciate it and love Ayu so

Btw, my copy of A BEST SUMMER shipped yesterday, Pieces, so we should be able to watch in a few days, depending on if you got yours from YA too. We should open our copies together and spazz over the booklet

And then possibly scan it, because I haven't seen any booklet scans posted yet.

^^I know, I just ordered the super ayu live photo books, ayu deji deji nikki mini, and asia tour 2007 DVD, and it just shipped with the free shipping method, and there's no tracking info available at all, and I don't even know which carrier is transporting my package. Lol I guess that's "free" for you.

PS I'm free mostly on weekends. Work a 9-5 on week days.

It comes regular mail, which has a lot to do with it. I remember Deli sent me some stuff and it took a month and a half

^^WOW, I've never had to wait that long for something, unless it was coming from like, Hong Kong and I ordered it on ebay. haha
