Based on the PV length, I have a feeling this song could end up AT LEAST SIX MINUTES LONG... (and by what I mean it could be that long or longer)

I don't mind TK at all! In fact I LOVE Love songs, but I don't know what happened here. It's like the studio was a time warp back to the 90s.

Love songs is a good consistent album and it was the first time she used TK's compositions in a very very long time, so it sounded "fresh"..but idk what happened afterwards, maybe she needs to find a good arranger for TK songs to sound more modern

I think Love Songs worked because she'd been focused on pushing rock and certain styles for a few years. Rock'n'Roll Circus was so BIG that Love Songs felt like a nice back to basics album that was about 'Ayu' rather than 'Ayu + everyone'? I don't know if that makes much sense. Plus, I think you could tell she was really in love. ;__;

It's more to do with the arrangers, the composer isn't really responsible for the production of the track.

Trends works in cycles... Almost everything that is big right now is derivative from the 90s. She is just trying aproaching a 90s aesthetic nobody else is in Jpop.

Tk more often than not arranges his own compositions though, doesn't he?

And its not like a good nostalgic throwbackish sound either, it just sounds outdated like they're using old technology or something.

They used an American arranger this time I believe...I think it was mentioned on LINE or Facebook...or TA, but just one of those places

Jaycen Joshua (who you're probably thinking of) was the mixer (He worked on a few tracks on Love Songs). The arranger is DJ Hello Kitty who, yes, is a remixer/arranger/producer/DJ who's officially tied to Sanrio, dresses up like Hello Kitty, and has CDs and everything.
