Teddy did say, 2NE1 would come back after CL's debut. But Idk how true this is now with Minzy gone.

Well, it's sampling Wu-Tang Clan's "Method Man".
Guess it's safe to say she's also going the urban route for this one.

The song is not bad, but it's so... forgettable? Sounds like a regular album-track I was expecting something more energetic from the single

On the bright side she looks gorgeous all over the video, as usual. Let's see if this song grows on me over time, but so far it's the weakest out of her solo tracks

I can see this being popular on the radio if it has the right promo. It's missing some of that 'CL attitude' for me but it could be worse Love her looks in the PV too!

I get that this an US single, but I really wanted something more... kpop. This song sounds like all the other songs when I turn on the radio, I really hoped for something more ... CL like? If that makes sense.

I actually like this better than most of her recent solos.
Not groundbreaking, but really nice to listen to.
Btw. her last solo songs weren't really KPop either.
It's fitting the US market.

I actually love this a lot. So much better than the trashy Hello B*tches.*phew*
After all the solo songs she has released, The Baddest Female is still my favorite.
I would agree that Lifted could have used a bit more of CL's personality. But it's more in line with her self than the last two songs. I got hints of Lil Kim in some parts too.

The song is really nice and the music video was going ok till the clouds part. lol And I think all the smoking very unnecessary :~ It's not adding anything to the aesthetic.
