Yup, RAINBOW is an amazing song.

I love all the re-recordings from A BEST, honestly. I just love her vocals from around that period. The A BALLADS version of ASFXX is killer too.

End roll is way better in A BEST than it was on LOVEppears. deeper bass and better arrangement makes miracles in this one

Had a dream that I went to a MADE IN JAPAN concert, and she opened it with GREEN. The vocals were better, but too low sometimes. But the song wasn't full, and like in the middle of it she changed into the Santa outfit and started singing Winter diary hahaha

What kind of dream is that even? XD

It disappoints me that Ayu chooses to wear fur. :/ Although Japan doesn't seem greatly interested in other animal rights issues, so perhaps she is simply a product of her culture and environment.

Still, it makes me wonder about her fashion choices. Does she have a personal shopper/dresser/stylist for her everyday wear?

^ Maybe it's fake/synthetic fur she's wearing?

^ Maybe! She seems to wear a lot of major designers though, so I assume her fur items are real fur.

She's definitely not the only celeb who does though, so it is unfair for me to point her out. I just wish it wasn't considered a luxury item, there are other materials that can keep her warm!

There are a lot of celebs who actively chose to not wear fur. I don't think it's unfair to mention that it's bad that Ayu wears fur. She chosed to and the best that can happen is that people in general critizise people who wear fur. Does wearing fur make her in general a bad person? No, not at all. But it's still not cool to wear fur.

I'm a bit disappointed and often also don't know how to feel about it, when I see her wearing her fur coats.
One of her coats is from Royal Chie ( according to the Life Style book).
There is Info on the website.
I don't understand much even though it's English..

"ROYAL CHIE uses 100% farmed fur skins in the cage.
Currently, 99.9% of furs in the world markets are farmed in the cate.
The system is the same as fish and meat for food, and doesn’t affect natural ecosystem.
ROYAL CHIE is also active in various charity programs."

live and let live. I couldn't care less whether its synthetic or not. She's an adult and can do what she wants.

Maybe she buys without thinking too much about it... I mean most people on earth eat meat without thinking if the animals they are eating have suffered etc... It's a different situation because it's not the same animals and not for the same needs but in the end they died for satisfy us :/

They basically just say that the animals who are used for their fur products were not hunted wild animals but farmed animals. Furthermore they use this as an argument why their fur products would not affect the ecosystem. This does not make any sense because the whole issue is a little bit more complicated than ROYAL CHIE wants it to be. But that's called marketing.

Well we all know how incredibly cruel the whole production for fur is and how those animals have to suffer. There is no "good fur" out there. Besides, farming and killing a living being just because you want to wear it's fur is a cruel act in itself. Fur is a luxury product and it's not like any human being out there would suffer by not wearing fur. Especially not someone like Ayu. Killing thousands of little kittens just because their fur is so fluffy - honestly, I don't even know what to say. Animals are not inanimated objects one can turn into a product which can be produced and farmed. Or at least they shouldn't be.
Since I don't think of Ayu as stupid and I think she knows the problematic behind all of this I think she just doesn't give a fuck about it. I'm disappointed she choses to wear fur but well, your idols are never as perfect as you wish they would be.

Thanks for explaining. I really wasn't sure if I got the meaning right.

killing an animal only for their fur to be used as a coat or piece of clothing is simply cruel..They even ( apparently when you check the shopping link think) make fur clothes out of Chinchillas..

But yeah it's Ayu's choice if she chooses to wear fur.

Ethical concerns aside, I find wearing fur completely ugly. I don't have a problem with vintage fur however. My grandmother has an amazing fur coat that is just the warmest thing I wrapped my body in lol New fur however, I don't agree with but I'm not going to shame the person for it.

While everyone is allowed an opinion, and yours is truly valid, this portion however simply is not. I know this goes beyond the discussion of Ayu so I'll try and keep it short. But, have you ever looked up some of the areas in Russia where people live? (such as Oymyakon or Verkhoyansk) Wearing fur is probably their best bet for survival.

People living in America probably don't have much of an excuse to wear fur (depending on which state they live in, of course) but for places that are permanently frozen with a small population of people need furs to survive. This is more of an assumption on my part, however.

That is a point that is worth discussing. But we already have material that is actually warmer than fur. To my knowledge polar researchers are able to stay in the Arctic zone for extended periods without wearing fur. They wear clothing that imitates how fur works by having a cavity inside filled with air.
And you don't need to be a polar researcher to by clothing like this. At least my Russian friend, who actually told me all of this, was just going into a store for outdoor clothing and bought a very warm jacket which she uses when she visits her family in Russia.
I have no idea if you can by clothing like this in Russia as easily as here though, have to ask her. So if it's hard to buy an alternative or this alternative is too expensive for people with a normal income, I won't blame them ever.
But from what my friend told me who's family in Russia is a rich one, they simply want to wear fur because a nice fur coat is a status symbol. I blame people like this because this is simply ignorant.
