I was looking on Wikipedia after I heard about the HOT LIMIT cover,
and I am SHOCKED.
I was getting back into this band and then this happens T____T

If she leaves the band, at least don't stop singing~!

Wikipedia said she wanted to have a career in Canada, which surprised me o__o

I am shocked. I can't believe that Maakii is leaving.

It doesn't feel right, her "graduating." She's not in Hello!Project. HandMC just isn't HandMC without her. I don't want her replaced either, though.

well, the group is still continuing, but i don't think they'll replace her just yet. let's see what happens.

Technically, HandMC was a band without her before...they weren't famous and they weren't picked up until she joined the band...

UGH I AM SO SAD~~!!!! My friend told me when she saw the HandMC stuff in Book Off today...I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY WERE DATING. I'm definitely going to buy the rest of their stuff (that I don't have) before I leave Japan~

Yeah, they have to start and finish up their summer tour, and they may have another single, and they may release another album before the end of the year, and then it'll be done for her...

HaMC will go on with out her, Maaki was an important part but it's not like she was the factor that held the whole unit together.

yea, but something different about the group was that they were a rock band that had a girl and guy singing together for vocals. not many bands have that kind of routine in japan, so that's what set HandMC apart from other bands. with just a male vocal, it's like any other rock band, you know? plus, i think they'd be even less popular without maakii around. it sucks that their not that popular to begin with.

They, in a way, helped each other become what they are now. Originally, the music people said that Maaki alone could not be big, and SASSY's band (yes, SASSY originally created the group) could not be big alone, so they said they should join together, and then they did and got signed and...yep.

I bet this won't happen, but I really hope Sony doesn't drop them. They have okay sales, but they seem to have a small, tight fanbase...

I bought HOT LIMIT today. I could not find the CD-only version anywhere, so I ended up buying the CD+DVD version. I thought I bought Gou on Progressive the other day, but I'll definitely buy that tomorrow. ^^ Hopefully I'll find ROCK PIT cheap somewhere, or at least at a decent price...

Basically, most of the article is what we already know (Maakii getting married to Nakamura, HandMC's history, etc). However, there are a few parts that caught my eye.
