i just saw the new trailer!!
this movie MIGHT not be so bad as i tought by seeing the old trailers!



now for some people that don't really pay attention to what they read in the first post, and are asking the same question a milion times (and getting on my nervs by doing so), here's another quote, this time from the DBEvolution blog:

Ayumi Hamasaki, 30, will sing the theme song for Hollywood film “Dragonball Evolution” which is based on Japan’s popular manga “Dragonball” series. Hamasaki will release an original song, “Rule,” for the live-action version film which will be released in Japan on March 13. The release date for the song will be announced later.

Hamasaki will perform the song in Japanese and it will be used in every local version of the film in more than 60 countries. In an official comment, Hamasaki said, “I hope both old and new fans of ‘Dragonball’ throughout the world will enjoy the film.”

so, now for the LAST TIME!!!!!!
this song WILL be used in EVERY version of the movie and will be sung in JAPANESE, not english and not in chinese!!!!!!
her TA message about the english and chineese being in her head has nothing to do with this!!!!!!!

I can't imagine a US-released movie featuring a Japanese pop song during its credits regardless.

The inital post has the first news report, which states that it is the Worldwide theme song of Dragonball Evolution...

So it will be played sometime in the film even in America.

in Japanese, though! and my comprehension of the language is not very good, so I wouldn't have been able to tell just from that.

my whole point was that I hadn't read the whole thread, so I was just going by the first post. of course I know now that it will be featured in the US release, but I was just pointing out to maikaru that I couldn't have known it would be since the first post was only in Japanese and I can't understand it. plus, I don't have the patience/time to read 15 pages of this in one sitting.

i think that they mentioned 60 countrys because it will probably first be released in those 60 countrys and after that it'll be played in the rest of the world.
so i'm sure that Ayus song wil be used in every country that the movie will be released^^

At first I thought they're releasing a new anime movie. ^^; But it turned out to be the life action version. I'm looking forward to the new song, but I don't yet know what to think about this. Like someone already said, a male singer would perhaps be preferable. Or an anime-like singer, like Nakagawa Shouko. But "Dragon Ball" is a HUGE tie-in. Finally!?

HAHAHA Finally!!! my friends will have to eat their own words, coz i remember some time ago they said, ha! your poor ayumi will never be heard here in Spain, haha and they laughed at my face. But now they will have to apologize coz, even knowing that they dont like ayumi, they die for anything that is DB relationed so they will hear it untill they get enough if it. Holy heaven, i hope ayu receives the fame she deserves.
