Yeah, 23:30 is so much better than Negai, but they don't really do ballads well. I wish they had more edgier techno stuff like "Electro World", "Computer City", even "edge" would've been nice as an A-side

i cant stop playing the song now, its so catchy!

i saw a lot of ppl had uploaded the budooooooooookan dvd! edge's choreography and screen video is soooo awesome!

i was thinking to DL the concert too, but since i can watch it in youtube, i think i have to cancel it

I think they have no choice but to lip sync. I watched the performance of Baby cruising Love in MSta before. They actually did sing but it sounded really bad with the effector device.

yes, exactly, i saw that performance too, actually they are good.

i understand that it will be hard for them to sing+dance for the wholce concert, but at least, try to open the mic a bit

in chocolate disco we can hear a-chan shout loudly, does that mean the mic is open, and they just didnt make any voice during the song?

I've always wondered how they worked that out myself. Did they have their microphones on and they silently mouthed all the words? Did they have only A-Chan's microphone on and she just mouthed all the words? Did they turn on A-Chan's microphone during certain parts and then turn it off?Did they all have their microphones on and they all were singing live very very softly to the point where they might as well not have been singing?

corikaru: yes, i've been questioning that too! but i dont think there'll be an exact answer

maybe we can consider perfume's dance concert instead of music concert. they dance more than singing. But i still like them

we shouldnt expect yasutaka's team to sing live in their concert, not only perfume, even MEG, ami suzuki (her techno stuff) and capsule arent singing live in their concert too

I think vocoder cannot be applied to a LIVE concert, in the sense that Perfume's voice as a whole needs to undergo various voice filters to produce the desired effect as in their songs. If they were to sing live, I don't think there's any setting that can produce their voices like in their songs, even with the DJ set.

Well it could..to some degree, but it would be way too difficult.
Perfume's songs are better off this way, it may seem a bit dissapointing seeing them lip sync most songs, but I really don't mind it much.
The songs just wouldn't sound right without a vocoder.. yes, it would sound pretty weird.
At least we can enjoy their awesome dance moves and I just really love their choreography ^^

I thought the opening was pretty awesome and just all the songs
and they performed their standard non lip sync songs live too,
so that was cute hearing their real voices ^^

I honestly don't like their real voices. It's too stereotypically squeaky and high pitched. I hope that changes as they get older and if it does change, I hope they use that more mature voice instead of continuing to use their high pitched voices as Japanese women tend to do. Although with the vocording it really wouldn't matter. It would give them more variety though because they'd be able to sing unvocorded songs and if they're good enough move out of the "Idol" category before their time is up.

hmmm, yah i guess we shouldnt expect them to use their real voice to sing their songs. but i heard their acoustic version of computer city, i think it sound really good, maybe they can try to do more that stuff.

yes, i really love the opening too! the ending of computer city is really funny to see them like robot, falling, like lack of electric XD and edge is very awesome! the huge perfume's face in the screen freak me a bit though.
