@Strobe: actually, i've seen A LOT of later interviews where she speaks COMPLETELY japanese and has no interpreter or anything.
 lemme see if i can find them... EDIT: here's when she was on KAT-TUN's show. there's 3 parts in total and i think she did pretty good. there's a subbed version of this somewhere on youtube... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDWR7...eature=related there's an even better interview i saw a long while back, where she was on some kin of dating show with other celebrities. i can't really find it, but that one really impressed me. ^ Well that's good. I'm not saying she's stupid or lazy or anything like that btw
 . She can express herself best in English anyway so maybe it's best until she can really speak her mind. But really, in album/single interviews (the ones where she's alone) and her DVDs- all in English  .

her earlier interviews are kind of painful to watch. i mean, i knew more japanese than she did at that time. xD i mean, some really "epic fail" type mistakes. and i would like it better if at least her album DVD behind the scenes stuff were in japanese. it makes it a bit awkward if it's in english for me, idk why. xD

That TV show with Utada was really funny though... she was right behind her and she was saying how erotic her photos were and then they break out the English in front of everyone. I wonder if they really became friends after that.

she looks pretty of course but I feel the bangs (in particular) aren't very flattering and doesn't to match her face at all. it feels really mature/old so it just gets @__@ for me when I first saw it
