I don't think we can predict the length of an upcoming album just with the number of singles and the songs on them... She had plenty of songs in 2003 and we ended up having a mini album...
I think everything can happen. It is just a matter of schedule and choice.

^^ I agree, it's way too soon for album prediction.
I want another 17 track album like MY STORY ... that was amazing..

I kinda want a long album but then I kinda don't... my favorites by her are MA, RAINBOW, and Duty which weren't long compared to other albums, lol. But then, I'm greedy and want lots of new Ayu material hehehe.

ha ha, you must be the only who heard it live at the concert and don't like it. Somehow, when i was at the yokohama show, my eyes got a little teary although i can understand 50% of it.

i'm already addicted to it, been repeating the live recorded version despite the poor quality.

I don't think its bad, but just thought it was OK. I couldn't really remember what it sounded like a few minutes after the first listen, so it didn't really grab me.

i want the album as long as possible. albums like my story really do feel like well . . .stories. and i find when she makes longer albums they feel like a real story is told. that could be a written novel

however her shorter albums do feel sufficient with their length so it doesnt really matter much. all her albums tell something to me

anyway im still really excited for this. July feels to far T.T MOON sounds gorgeous already with poor quality (and im not the type to praise ballads until several listens). . .blossom seems so mellow. perfect.

I wouldn't mind the album being long at all as long as the quality of the music doesn't suffer. I felt like MY STORY included quite a bit of filler songs that don't stick with me, I don't want that happening again.

This is basically what I was about to respond with, lol. I do love how My Story actually does tell a story with it's music but I felt she could've achieved the same effect without the filler. Half of the middle section and the tracks between Inspire and Humming 7/4 seemed completely unnecessary and the tracks started sounding alike and running into each other. Same with Loveappears.

On the other hand, there's I am... (which is steadily growing on me) and m(u) that are pretty long but manage to have a lot of diverse and consistently good tracks so I guess it really all just depends on the quality of the music. Whether the album is long or short, I just want good Ayu music to enjoy.

I think a lot of Ayu's music is like that. Rock'n'Roll Circus is -really- like that, haha.

But it grows on you tremendously after a while. yasashii uta wo kimi ni ageru yoooo~

I've never associated ayu with 'filler' tracks. She's one of the few artists that puts just as much into the album tracks as she does into the single tracks. Often, the album tracks are better!

Yeah, she is among the rare artists that makes the album tracks as good and at times better than her singles.

As for the MOON at first it was just ok, after a couple of tries the song grows on you and I pretty much love it.

My thoughts exactly. I'm always way more excited for Ayu's albums than her singles. Not only because we get a larger amount of songs upon that release, but mostly because there's always pretty much a gaurentee that she'll have some bomb-ass album tracks!

my name's WOMEN, About You, Ladies Night, JEWEL, Microphone, 1LOVE, momentum ... I could go on and on.

You two have just already said my thoughts exactly!! I totally love all of Ayu's songs! And I even think some are under-appreciated at times. She's my greatest inspiration, and her words and actions has helped me through some of the hardest experiences in my life.

Oh, she does have some amazing album tracks that I often love way more than the singles (Secret and RAINBOW <333 being prime examples). Like I said it's pretty much dependant on the quality of music as LA and MS are pretty much the only albums she's had that I felt had a lot of filler. I would love a long album if the tracks are as incredible as the ones on Secret, I am... and m(u).
