Doesn't the "molestation incident" refer to the fact that someone grabbed Ayu's wrist and tried to yank off her red bracelet? That bracelet is very precious to Ayu so the thought of losing it just like that scared Ayu, and that's basically what she's talking about in that entry, if I remember the story correctly.
Or are you thinking about some other "molestation incident"?

Yeah! I remember something about that, a fan tried to snatch the string off her wrist or something. Around the same time she lost an expensive ring at an airport.

I don't understand why a few people are still in this forum except for bashing Ayu ! I don't say that we can't share our own opinion but sometimes it's a bit too rude ...

That's so vague and nonsensical, and isn't the red string suppose to be a dedication to her friend or something that died. It could be her friend's story or experience or whatever. Ayu speaks and writes in metaphors. If she had blogged about being molested, there's no way it would stay on TeamAyu. It would be reporter and repeated in tabloids.
Anyway, just another publicity stunt, right?

I think the title had something in the title about REDLINE not NAGOYA. And it describes what the redline was all about, not just someone grabbing her wrist. And if google translate still works the same, it's more understandable to translate it line by line.

Sorry no TA entries with RED LINE in the title in June 2010.

Not many people know the significance behind the bracelet. At least I doubt the one who tried to snatch it away did.

For all those people who are lost, basically, ayu wrote a TA message on the 28th about Nagoya, and that's when she mentioned this incident. The reason why I didn't translate and post it here is because ayu said this:

"Ah, because it's TA here, that's why I'm talking about this. If you read and understand me, and try not to leak it at Twitter, I'll be really happy."

This gave me the impression that she didn't want this message to be leaked out to the public, so I respected her wishes and didn't post up a translation.

Yeah, as Deli had said, in Nagoya, someone tried to rip the red bracelet off her wrist, but the person next to him grabbed his arm and he let go of ayu. Her basic reaction was "It's been a long time since I've felt such pain in my heart. You can do anything, but the red bracelet, only that, please leave it alone."

There you have it.

oh that makes sense...
but there are so many definitions of molestation, especially when you translate it into a different language.

her being grabbed could be called molestation, but I would have used a better word because being molestated just seems to point to a different subject matter.

Wish I had my TA membership still to help look. I'd be glad if it was a mistake from using google and being new to japanese at the time I read it. But what I read seemed far too descriptive to be the one about Nagoya. It should mention her and the 2 friends who shared the redline if you find the right one. The friend who died(the guy she says enjoyed Bali so much), a girl who still wears it and Ayumi, because she said there were 3 and now it's down to the 1 original and her replacement she wears now.

Yeah. Sounds like she was describing the incident to feel like a molestation on herself, it's that disturbing for her to have her redline string tampered with.

Are you talking about this entry?

In Those Days
9 October 2009 4:33 PM

I'm posting what I wrote back then.
Our red bracelets shine on our arms even today.
Right, Tsuriko?

[267] Just now,
8 October 2008 (Wed) 12:16 AM

I recieved contact from a friend of mine who is fighting a battle at the end of his life.
Around this time last year, he suddenly struck ill and learned that he only had a short time to live, but he crossed over from despair to hope and has been constantly fighting since then.
And everyone in his family, just as he has, have changed in the days since, living with patience and strength.

The last day I saw him was April 8th.
There was not a single strand left of his long hair, and his body had become so very thin, but he told the hospital no, and went to Yoyogi together with his mother.
He frantically did his best to be cordial to everyone, all the while taking care of his mother, and when he saw me, he gave me a hug, sobbed loudly, and then said "I'm doing my best," and returned to his usual smiling face.

So much has happened since then.

So, I've fought to "do my best" for the last ten minutes, but everything inside me is so messed up.

I, him, and one other friend, the three of us together all wear red bracelets that are shining on our arms even now, and that third friend has been informed.
She's by his side right now.
As for me... I think it's best for him to be in a peaceful environment, and I'm pretty sure his family wants that for him too, so I'm not there.

In such times, to be completely honest, I become very unpleasant to be around.

But the bracelet I'm wearing right now will shine on my arm for a long time!!!!!

I'm sorry for being like this today...

"Surely I am walking and I am smiling and I am breathing
Even having innocent conversation
Naturally I thought it would continue this way."*

well, I know they used to use molestation when grabbing people as well (during legal reasons), but they changed it to battery (which makes even less sense).

Thats why I think its a translation issue... I noticed a ton of foreigners use it when i use to work with them at a restaurant.

it really stems from molest, and that could just be from grabbing someone...

Ok, I'm really disgusted by what saigodansu is making up AGAIN!
This whole TA entry is just about this:

28/6/2010: About the red bracelet and a molestation incident

Oh, about this incident, I'm only talking about it because this is TA. So if you understand me and do not spread about this over at Twitter, I'll be very happy.

I absolutely agree with TeamAyu2004 here, 'cos when I look molested up in my dictionary I get as translation "belästigt werden". And when I look "belästigt werden" up I get something like "being annoyed/bothered/mobbed". I'm pretty sure that Ayu isn't talking about molested in the context of sexual abuse.

As you see you were completely wrong with the **** you were talking about. You're not only telling people again and again that they should proof your point or just believe you, you were talking about a very sensetive topic. Here at AHS most people are used to the strange conspiracy theories you tell us non stop, but this is not fun anymore. Going around and telling people Ayu was molested by having not a single evidence and just a bad translation... I really don't know what to say anymore. This topic is way to serious, senstitive and personal as to tell people someone was molested just because you're to stupid to find a good translation or to dumb to realize that molested might mean something else than sexual abuse.

And about what ExodusUK said, that you were talking (on twitter) about Ayu being abused as a child and therefore homosexual.

If you really thought Ayu was abused as a child and talked about it on TA and asked her fans NOT to talk about it on twitter - how could you say you're a fan? People like you really disgust me.
And homosexuality as a reason of molestation? You're statements make me wanna puke. Not only that this is pure garbage it is absolutely disrespectful to talk about someones sexuality on twitter. If someone is homosexual, heterosexual or bisexual or whatever is non of your buisness and nothing you have the right to discuss at such a public place like twitter.

that's a later entry that mentions there being 3 bracelets, but it wasn't the one where she described why they wore them. thanks for looking though. It should be a June entry, but considering when I read it, it could be as late as August.

I'm not really liking how Ayu is so open with her relationship these past years somehow. She should keep it to herself...instead of telling it to the fans or the media. This is a personal private life, not work.
