I don't think I'm gonna be in Japan til September though! I'll be staying for a full year, so hoping I get to see her.

pretty much every years, most of the time either during Spring, or more towards Summer, 'til the end of August I think.
She also does Halloween or Xmas themed concerts.

I rather enjoyed the suki song. Much better then the little preview gave us... its still bland, but not too boring. The single itself is rather... blah though.

The "with LOVE" tracklist looks absolutely lovely. I like all the titles! Especially "Abracadabra". I'm totally looking forward to listening to that song & the whole album!

My favourite new songs from the album are Gomen Ne and Abracadabra. She shouldn't have included LOVE & JOY and Stand Up. Those songs are the definition of bland.

This album is so much more boring than Love Place. I really enjoyed Love Place. The singles and b-sides were both superior during that era.

I actually think LOVE & JOY is the best song on the album. Mind you, I've skipped around a lot just to get a general feel and consensus. But LOVE & JOY is gives the feeling of "yeah, I want to sing a long too!" where as the rest don't. And I really dislike Kana's rap-but-not-rap verses all over this album. I just hate those 'hey, boy, I am a pretty girl. you know I love to dance, so take me for a twirl. makeup, cupcakes, candy, all those things are fine. but I would give everything up just to make you mine.'

It seems this album has a bit more of an "organic" country/acoustic-inspired theme. I hate it. Lol. My favorite tracks from Love Place were the songs that were sprinkled with a little bit of techno-pop, like is this love? and the like. This album is so different and just not as fun.

This is exactly the thing that convinced me to listen to Kana lol
And now I kinda like her. In fact, after I heard 25 in spring I started to like her.

So I downloaded the album yesterday and gave the whole album a listen. I liked 2 or 3 songs on it (darling was one of them) but I never understood why Nishino was popular. Is it because her music is 'cute' or something?

Excuse my wording, I'm bad at wording things. But anyway, Kana does indeed make "cute" music which connects with the younger Japanese crowd. They ate her music up back when she transitioned into R&B music with Kimi ni Aitaku Naru Kara. She found a style that worked and stuck with it ever since. It has been getting somewhat boring as of recent.

Yeesh, you guys are making me not want to download the album. I didn't even realize it was out. I haven't been paying too much attention to her music lately. I listened to a few tracks on the way home in my car today, actually.

I like the new album, but it's definitely weaker than her past two, at least. My favourite tracks are probably Stand Up and the prologue (I love Kana's prologue's).
