The cover is okay albeit a little... reminiscent of every other cover since 2012. I don't mind the typography. It does look kind of like a prom invitation, but at least they didn't put some tacky blue glow behind it like they've ruined so many covers with before. (Ugh, MOON/blossom...) It's nice and clean and sophisticated. It matches the photo.

The tracklist is disappointing, especially since there's no PV. Two remixes? Is a dub mix even that different from the original version? (I'm not a remix expert, lol.) The other remix is from a virtual unknown, right?

It's better than nothing, but that doesn't say much. I wish they'd have gone all the way if they really wanted to release a recut single. More remixes, otherwise what's the point really?

XOXO on the other hand is ridiculous. $25 for an already released song, a PV that looks like it was shot on a $5 budget, and one new remix? w o w

I get that it's because of the new media format or whatever, but it's a novelty and just stupid really. Even putting aside the fact that the plug-in cube is so huge and no one would carry enough of those around to warrant not just putting the songs and video files on the phone itself. Doesn't it plug into the audio jack, too? So basically you can't even listen to it with headphones, i.e. while you're in public. That defeats the purpose of having it mobile in the first place.

And yeah this release is seriously one big question mark. What's the point? Photo is ok, but seriously NOT reflective of the feeling and aura behind Terminal. Does anyone over at avex know how to create a fucking CONCEPT? Ugh. Creating concepts and expanding upon them is what excites me, so when I see potential and neglect, it pisses me off.

Thanks. That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. So it's basically just the original mix, a glorified instrumental, and a remix by some unknown for $10. What a steal, lol.

I think it's safe to say avex will profit from this single at least.

The album probably sold well enough for avex, if they agree to release Terminal as a re-cut single it's probably because they think they can gain some profit or an opportunity for something profitable.
