Ayu fans love discussing this stuff, which is great, but many of us seem to miss the fact that there isn't always one right answer. So we argue and bicker, but we're never actually supposed to reach a conclusion for a ton of it.

"A ONE" doesn't HAVE to mean any one specific thing to her entire fanbase - if it did, she'd have just said it up front rather than omitting a letter.

The XX in A Song for XX turned out to have meaning specific to Ayu sure, but the whole point upon the album's release was that it could mean whatever the fans wanted it to mean - when you hear that song, who or what do you think of? THAT is your XX. Sometimes her album titles have a single meaning that she explains, sometimes they're left open for fan interpretation on purpose, and this is the a latter.

If, for some of us, TA ONE is what the album title means, then that's what it means to us. Or if we hear the album and we think Ayu sounds like she's ALONE or like she's trying to ATONE for past sins (or if perhaps she's asking for us to do so)... then cool! Fine! Whatever you hear, that's what it means to you, and that's the right answer.

Well 2 weeks and a half for the release!

My memory hesitantly tells me that Ayu revealed in an article of some kind that the "N" stands for "Natsuki" (as in her friend Natsuki), the "A" obviously standing for Ayu. I don't know why she would name it after her friend though.
On the subject of naming, I would prefer if the "hidden" album title wasn't "TA ONE", but I wouldn't necessarily react too much if it was. After "Song 4 u" and the first verse of "XOXO", it really can't get any worse for me.

Well, here goes my 2 cents.

She said that if we add one letter to A ONE, it will have a new meaning, but did she say that it will be one word? Like ALONE or ATONE... If not just one word, then we could go with TA ONE, but for me, it makes more sense if it's ASONE (AS ONE).

I mean, ALONE is too sad for her, she doesn't look like on the verge of another deep sorrow (like she was in Party Queen or something) right now. What makes me sure about AS ONE, that's because of... The GIFT.

Maybe she has finally found the joy of marriage and now it feels like she's connected to each other and becoming one... something like that.

Your view is very interesting. AS ONE is a beautiful double meaning. AS ONE with her hubby and AS ONE with her fans. Maybe AS ONE with this world because she finally found her place in this world in her professional life as much as in her private life.

I'm also waiting to have the album to listen to it. It may be hard the first time but I have been doing this for a while. I know it may be a little bit stupid torturing ourselves with that, but the whole experience listening to the album once you have it really worths it, besides the impression it causes is different.
As for the tittles theories, I'll stick to what Delirium-Zer0 said (that whatever means to you is the right one) until we see the physical album.

When I finally decide to wait for the whole thing to leak and listen to no previews nor watch previews, ayu start posting things before and in full (well, at least one so far)

As for TV appearances...I don't understand why TV Asahi is leaving out Ayu. (>_<) Come on, TV Asahi!

I heard Ayaka's going in, but not Ayu (or miwa)...why is she not in the Music Station special??? This is a really big opportunity! I mean, we're seeing Kis-My-Ft2, NyaaKB (AKB48), Southern All Stars, Tohoshinki, J Soul Brothers, Yuzu, and even BEGIN...but why not Ayu??? Hello???

This is disgusting. Especially with the fact you've got good new songs from the album, why is TV Asahi ignoring Ayu??? Hello???

I doubt this album is going to have any significant TV appearances...
