BLACK got 470,057 copies sold on the first week and WHITE got 475,284 copies sold.

Compared to MW's drop from 12k to 4k, this isn't nearly as frightening. I was more disappointed with wednesday's sales than this actually. Starting to doubt the 1 million too. It doesn't have to beat best fiction, just crossing the million mark is enough. I think it will sell 600k first week.

It's going to be a struggle to get into 500k territory. You really should compare these to the B'z numbers - they are almost identical except, Ayu is selling a bit less and B'z managed 501,000 by the end of the first week.
