Anyway, I hope Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence - FYI or Apple and Cinnamon is the next single. Both songs are catchy and have lyrics that are cool~

I had no idea people went crazy like that over spoken Japanese. How are they while listening to an actual Japanese Song? Do they go into Seizures and Convulsions and end up being committed? Cute though.

I hope Utada seriously forgoes the whole iTunes strategy and makes "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence - FYI" the next Single. It's definitely a fan favorite and has mass appeal. It stands out from everything else on the Album.

Oh, I heard her on the radio this morning (y-100 South Florida). So I guess she is still in South Florida after her Miami Sephora event (which was cut short). Anyways, she had a short interview but didn't really share anything new (How she got the nickname Hikki, she went to Columbia, she writes, composes, and arranges her music, her album was given a more mainstream feel, she never wanted to follow her parent's footsteps).

She was pretty nice overall. She did share about her thoughts between the US vs. Japanese music industry. She said the US has more glitz and glam whereas the Japanese are more low-key (no red carpet awards). She did joke that once she said she got tested for HIV and exclaimed how she didn't have AIDS after the she got the results. The Japanese tabloids twisted it and said she had AIDS and everyone laughed. She also mentioned the presence of lolita - that being young is better in Japan. After a few more comments, they played "Poppin'", and mentioned how she was on KH and played a snippet of "Simple & Clean".

Gosh I love "Keep Tryin'". One of my favorites. I remember when it first came out and some report/reviewer in Japan described it as Bubble Gum Pop Trash or something like that. It was only that one source though that I read it from. Nowhere else. Obviously the general population didn't agree thank god. Great song. Never gets old.

Glad to see it in such good standing. I heard it sold Digitally like Crack Cocaine over there.
