yup, I also go by the cd singles & cd+dvd albums. it's like the only combination that makes sense to me. buying her singles is already pretty crazy but buying all versions of her stuff is too hardcore, there are also other artists around I want to waste my money on.

I always buy the +DVD version of singles since I don't wanna feel like I'm missing something xD After all, the singles get released before the album, and I wanna have those PV's ASAP!

As for Sunrise/Sunset, I ordered both versions but I'm not exactly sure why.
I think if there won't be any announcements as to first press goodies, I might cancel the CD-only one.. Also since the covers are ugly.. But I'll see.

Yep you're right, CD+DVD singles are a waste of money. Especially when you can buy the CD+DVD album and got the same PV (or download them in DVD quality )
but in CD+DVD singles there are 'making of..' things.. so isn't a waste of money at all lol

but then those making ofs are in the albums too

but i just buy the singles...because FP get posters, though for R/S OS press, you have to buy the CD+DVD and one of the CD only to get the poster...money suckers XD

I'm really thinking about buying CD only...because I dislike the CD+DVD cover..

i still remember being angry when ayu's singles had only one cover style when she started doing cd+dvd versions. "AYU! everyone else has TWO covers! why are you only using ONE!?!?!?" hahaha...but then again, moments, step you, inspire, carols--even though they only have one cover, they're GOOD covers. haha.

They're GREAT covers! Especially when compared to these covers lol. Besides, Ayu's covers aren't that drastically different from one another (with multiple versions), so she might as well only have one.

I'd prob. just go with the cd only singles, cd/dvd albums combination. That makes sense. Unless of course it ends up being like my name's women and the pv is only on the single, or the pv is just really awesome and you want to buy the single with it.

i agree... they have an old lady sound to them. their voices are just so... old. And it doesn't blend with Ayu's. Clashes! I think getting a 3rd backup singer with a more youthful, smoother, higher pitched voice could offset Peco's growls... I dunno. lol
