Why not? She's recording a lot lately and already has 6 a-sides? I've thought she was going to get back in the habit of releasing albums in December. They sell more

it can happen. it's not like people are just pulling things out of their ass. we just think it's possible because she keeps talking about recording and she's obviously finished recording the single songs.

I just feel like it would have been a stretch to have two albums 6-8 months apart back in 2000/2001, let alone 2010. but who knows.

Usually it would be rather fast for an album, but she already has 3 singles released before October totallying in a possible 7 songs for the album (if SEVEN DAYS WAR ends up being included), even though she just released an album in April.

Given a normal 2-3 month break between the last single and album, it's not that weird if we got an album in Dec/Jan.

Personally, though, I'd rather see another single before an album.
But even having 3 singles per year is a bit rare now for Ayu.

^ By far the best timing for an album release was MY STORY, imo

I remember listening to it on my portable cd player while on my way to every Christmas party that year hahaha. I don't even remember the last time I saw someone even using a portable cd player haha

EXACTLY! I only allowed myself to download one song and it ended up being Humming 7/4, lol. I liked it. But finally when Christmas came I was ready to burst. After we had opened all our presents, my mom had a little scavenger hunt she sent us on, with clues about stuff around the house. The hunt ended with me in the bathroom finding a huge heavy box. I opened it, and inside was a giant dictionary used just to throw me off from what was inside and it was MY STORY! Best Christmas ever and probably one of the many reasons I cherish MY STORY as my favorite Ayu album. Plus, the album versions of my name's WOMEN were absolutely heavenly! I hated the previews of them from the CMs they were featured in!

that's a cute story I adore MY STORY a lot too, and I love the classical version.

yeah..i'm thinking..like ever since A COMPLETE came out, it changed her album release schedule, like how NEXT LEVEL came out in march and now Rock'n'Roll Circus in april..maybe avex didn't want NEXT LEVEL to be released too close to A COMPLETE, so they decide to move it as distant as possible which was the last day of fiscal year 2008 or 2009, after that i guess they kept with the album releases in spring, i also think that there maybe many strong competitors releasing albums in the winter and with what happened with kobukuro, avex doesn't want to take another risk with winter albums?

I actually hope she would take a break after the 7 Days Break and focus on a new album for next year or something; as in no more singles for a while.. wouldn't make sense to have 4/5 singles before an album anyway, this isn't 2001 or what anymore.. lol
