Plus, Ayu didn't write the song or lyrics herself, in the making she had to ask what kind of song she is going to sing on the day of the filming, which implies that she had no prior knowledge to the song.

We never say "tada tomo" to mean "just friends." I have never heard of this.
If we say "tada tomo" then we will almost always understand it to mean the phone option now, like Softbank's White plan, or even willcom has it I believe. It's like catchphrase of these cell phone options, and if we say to other people "Tadatomo de-su" or so, it's like saying "we are the friends on free cell phone plan."

Anyways, yeah in my opinion unfortunately there is no way to release it as a song, because the lyrics were designed by Softbank and for softbank... sorry.

Well I think Softbank is just beeing funny with the lyrcis since they want to promote their free call offer. Since "tada" can imply not only to "free" but also "just" and so on. I thought their tada tomo was just a funny way to say "free within friends" or something like that since thats what they are promoting? No?

And I hope most ppl who says that this should be a single are just joking. Haha. It's a CM song for Softbank. Nothing else. I would lol to the ground if it got to be anything more then that.
