KARA confirms their comeback for September

KARA has announced that they’ll be making comeback in September!

The idol group will release their new album in mid-September, and will resume their activities in Korea for the first time in over six months. KARA is reportedly very busy, carrying out activities in Japan as well, and will only be able to promote their new album in Korea for about three weeks.

A representative stated, “Because KARA has many things scheduled, including an album release in Japan in October, they will only be able to promote in Korea for three weeks.”

The girls are also in the midst of choosing their lead song.

DSP Media commented, “They are currently reviewing which songs to be their title song. Two songs have been chosen so far, and they’ll soon choose their title song for their comeback.”

Regarding their new image, KARA is facing the choice between maintaining their usual bright concept or transforming into something new.

The representative has also stated, “They are trying their best to live up to their fans’ expectations.”

Korean album in September and Japanese album in October. *exciting~!

Well since Korea's definition of an album nowadays seems to be 6 songs (with one being an intro and another an instrumental), I have a feeling we'll get a full Japanese album from them, with about 4-5 of the songs from it in Korean for the Korean "album". That's honestly so exciting though. I kind of hope we only get JCL and Go Go Summer on the album and the b-sides are excluded, so we can have more new material.

KARA to make a comeback in September with third album, “STEP”

Girl group KARA will be making their comeback in Korea soon with a new album, slated to released on September 6th.

Their agency DSP Media stated on August 22nd, “KARA will be active in Korea with the release of their 3rd full-length album next month… It’s been 10 months since the release of their 4th mini-album, ‘JUMPING‘.”

Their comeback track is said to be a rock/electronica-themed song called “STEP,” and was reportedly written by producer duo Sweet Tune. The album’s limited edition will be in stores later this week on the 25th. One hundred fans who buy the limited edition of the album will be chosen to attend a special showcase by KARA on September 14th.

actually, im so glad that by advancing to the japanese market, they finally can sing more ballads (which hardly get ANY spotlight in Korea..unless OST)
