I liked Meisa Kuroki for her music. She may not be an outstanding vocalist and I have no troubles admitting that, but for me her voice was just fine and not irritating like other Japanese artists/bands I have come across with good music but an annoying singer who turns me off completely. I guess the credit all goes to whoever Meisa's producers were who gave Meisa's style of music this, shall I say, unique drop of urban sound in pop music. The style is exactly why I liked her music. Such a shame that it's seemingly very unlikely Meisa will come out with new music
Meisa's acting career I am indifferent towards because I don't really watch Japanese TV/movies. Not because I necessarily loathe it, but the inaccessibility of it for an English speaker turns me off. Maybe if someone gives me a good movie or drama Meisa starred in to watch in HD and English subs then I'll watch it, but the only thing I was interested in watching what she was in (Shiawase ni Narou Yo) I could only find in low quality

 You know, I've (finally) had a good listen to "UNLOCKED" and it made me realize how awesome it would be, if Meisa were to return to music! I've also come to appreciate the songs "Hit The Road", "Shake It Off" & PARADE" so much - they're such amazing songs.  *sigh* I truly do hope Meisa will sing again, someday!

Yeah I always remembered LOL! cos of the Kit Kat CM Kuroki did and the song was used in the CM itself
Man I really wish Kuroki would go back to release music , same thing with Kuriyama Chiaki but this's only a sideline thing they do as 1st and foremost they're actresses/models . Then again I can always keep hoping

Yeah Kuroki is not the best singer but she made up for that with some really slick sounding songs , fun entertaining PVs & great packaging for her releases
She's 1st & foremost known as an actress/model and singing is only something she does on the sideline . I hope she can consider to release something new music again in the near future
