the song is bad, lyrics aren't that interesting, no real music here, boring
the MV isn't good either. looks cheap and typical swag stuff

I honestly expected much more with all this hype for CL they've built up lately
so it's really dissapointing to me

the way she acts reminds me of Rihanna, and the movie is like One of A Kind Female Version

^I definitely agree with this. And I'm already starting to get tired of Rihanna acting like Rihanna, so I don't need another one (though, to be clear, I still love RiRi).

I feel like CL is a collision of Rihanna into Nicki Minaj sometimes.

I like it when she's natural and doesn't try to do the whole 'swag, I'm the baddest female' thing. You can be the 'baddest female' without having to say it all the time. Plus, if you have to say it/show it all the time, it starts to lose credibility...just bein' honest.

She is more of the 'baddest female' when she does the unexpected and doesn't plan for it (like in 2NE1 TV whenever she would rally the girls before stage performances and make her little speech or when she makes song choices to sing that aren't typically something she'd do - when she said she listens to a lot of 'Lana Del Ray' I was taken aback in a nice way lol).

I mean, I can't say I'm surprised since YG seems to be all about "Let's show everyone how much swag we have," which, btw, is an OVER-used word, even here in the states.

Anyway, 2NE1 should take a page out of Namie's book and start releasing promos for the next album.

I mean, Namie's 35 (omg), is still in the process of wrapping up her tour (unless she already finished it, whoops) and has still found time to record her next album AND give us the covers/amazing teasers.

Like come on. What have you girls been doing over the past year? They finished their tour months ago and every update that comes our way from them is involving their nails or shopping (as I've said before).

I know it's no use complaining, but sometimes I really just have to get it off my chest lol. I apologize to all those who are tired of hearing it, I just...meh.

I thought the song's going to be smth like GD's Crayon or MichiGo

but it was a wayyy too bad with that hip-hop, they call it, but to me the real hip-hop was in the 90s, now that doesn't even sound like music

about 2ne1, I feel like smth's bad been going on, cuz they've been out a game for a wayyy too long, especially for YG, it's strange and especially strange after all these money they put into them

have they any arguments inside the group or between the group & YG or between the group, CL & YG? this is what I feel

I completely agree about Hip Hop in the 90s lol. With the exception of a few artists, Hip Hop has basically turned into rapping about partying and booze and rarely about relevant topics.

Even G-Dragon, for as much credit as he gets for being "one of the best idol rappers" raps about being the best or partying or having a good time. I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, but he never really raps about anything relevant lol.

If there's a fight in 2NE1 (but I don't think there is, tbh) I kind of hope it's Minzy who's mad haha.

I mean, if Minzy were mad, there is no way in hell I would blame the girl. She gets pushed to the side all of the time in 2NE1 because of the other members and the girl has the best control over her vocal skills/technique/etc. She's also the best dancer and does just a good job rapping as CL but because she doesn't have a 'nasal' rapping-style, no one cares about her rapping either.

She's the only one that hasn't gotten a solo in the group too and I honestly don't think she ever will, which is sad.

All of these 2NE1 stans on YG Ladies and Allkpop were like "CL has DESERVED this for so long!"

Really? If anything, I think Minji probably deserved a solo more.

Like I said though, YG will probably never give her one, which is sad because even Dara got one.

^Agree with both of you even though I Rihanna's music & live performances to pieces. I'll be honest, really honest, I've been fighting with myself to try & like the single and its been up & down with me, but I really can say it's not going on my regular usual daily music playlist anytime soon. The more I push myself towards it, the more it shoves me back a few feet.

As for promotion and releasing music, I also must agree. They're taking SOOOOO LONG for no real good reason. They're supposed to be the Queens as they love putting it over there, but how can they possibly stay on top if they're not doing anything to grab top spots on polls and awards all the time? One song can only win them so many of those. And while I'm also agreeing on the whole promotion thing with them compared to Namie, the sad thing is that in Japan, it's quite normal for artists to start doing promotions over a month in advance. Even release snippets of new tracks that'll be on the new release. However in Korea, they seem to love telling everyone like only a week or maybe sometimes 2 weeks in advance and only show off random promotional images and rant on & on about how "great" it'll be without so much as a 10sec snippet of the new music to show the public til the full thing actually releases, which annoys me to no end. -_-

They are no threat to 2NE1. SISTAR only does well digitally since their label discounts their singles online. If you take a look at their physical sales for their albums you'll see that they're nothing compared to 2NE1's (mini)albums

The only thing SISTAR might beat 2NE1 in is countdown shows but honestly who cares about those
