I thought she refers herself as the canary. Voice crushed to death could refer that she's been forced to sing/make songs again and again and even after doing that she's still forced to do it so she write that the canary chose not too and asks them to notice it. Idk it's just bits of my thoughts about it.

ever free's lyric are too personal, too much imo and it's beautifully sad and honest. While kanariya had those confusing lyric but when kotora pointed out about her may hate the song it kinda make some sense for me. I still hope she performs kanariya someday while I get the reason why ever free will never be performed live.

Her voice has changed over the years I wouldn't see it as a problem if she sang kanariya in a different octave or something. So it shouldn't really be any problem as far as the high notes or anything.

I certainly wouldn't mind if she sang it in a lower key.

If she did sing Kanariya everyone here would just say she murdered it and it would have been best left as a special one-off song on Loveppears and never performed.

She didn't say she hated the song but was unsatisfied with how it came out and that it was "regretful". Which is why I guess it's a "hidden" track and then was remixed into something else completely for the single release.

mte. Whatever Ayu does, fans will always find something to bash her for. But I kinda have a feeling that she'll actually perform this song on the very final concert. Maybe she's just warming up her vocals rn?
