I'm on the fence about whether or not I should purchase this album. I want to buy it but I'm afraid that they may repackage it with their previously released songs that were released digitally only. Although they have never released a repackage, other artists on their label have so it's a possibility that 2NE1 could too but I'm not sure. I wish they would have just included them as bonus tracks.

^They said they're releasing another album with those singles on it later this year.

As for the album, I really love most tracks. I think it's much better than those singles.

few little comments:

COME BACK HOME sounds sooo mainstream, but with a little touch of it's own personal attitude. Awesome.

Nice Girl (#5), the whispering thing reminds me of some 90's songs when they used to do that in the Western Hemisphere.

When CL says "what you gonna do when they come for you?" on her solo all that comes to mind is the show COPS my dad used to watch when I was growing up

However, great song either way.

HAPPY gives me a very retro feeling, which I just

SCREAM sounds even better in Korean.

BABY I MISS YOU I get such an incredible retro girl group feeling from this (excluding the rapping). TBH, reminds me of the Spice Girls to a small extent.

Thank you for the reminder. I looked back through the news and saw where YG stated that they will be releasing a second album this year as well as CL's solo album. From the sounds of it, it seems like it's going to be a new album since they said that they have many songs that didn't make it to this release, however, I think I'll still wait just in case that album turns out to be a repackage and if it isn't, I can pick up all three albums at once.

Yeah, I would suggest that you wait if you want to play it safe. As much as I'd like to purchase this album now, I know I'll be kicking myself if they happen to repackage it and even if they don't, it can be purchased at any time.

I completely forgot they said there would be a second album, I only remembered CL's solo. I wonder how long they've had these songs finished. I hope it isn't just a repackage - actually getting their album has made me greedy!

I forgot too even though I posted the news here that included that information from YGLadies, lol. He said that the other members solo will be included on that next album as well. It would be really nice if it wasn't a repackage and we actually get two new albums this year and CL's solo. I think after the long wait for this album, blackjacks deserve that but we'll just have to wait and see I guess.
