It depends with me on which song I introduce to friends. I got a guy immediately into her by showing him the Juicy MV xD but most the time I go for Taboo. I put in another post above how that song is still my jam and will likely always be my jam and anyone who asks me who koda kumi is is going to hear my jam!!!

Yah, I start with TABOO for most people, but I show MORE to those who are not so into pop and dance. BUT is also one I like showing people

Oh BUT is a good one. I've never been a huge fan of MORE, but I can definitely see someone who's really into ballad's liking that one (that red dress in the MV is sooooooo beautiful.) I've also showed Dreaming Now! to a couple of friends. The MV/Song/Dance/Outfit/KodaKumi'sHolyGodThatBody is just perfection. I'm always amazed when I show that one and they say something like "Oh, that's all right, I guess." Like, if it's not your favorite type of music or if you're just not into it, that's cool, but c'mon it's still a 10/10. xD

I like MORE . I can understand why some will not like it due to the music style but I thought that the PV is 1 of the better ones in Kingdom

I think the reason why to me Kingdom was a step down from Black Cherry (even though the Kingdom covers were good & likewise for the photos in the booklet) was because of the quality of the PVs especially when comes to the album tracks that received them

And I know some feel that JAPONESQUE is over rated but it's my 2nd favourite album of Kuu & the concert goods for the tour were so innovative if not cool

Like how often you see a scroll being disguised as a pamphlet concert good ?

^ Whoa, that actually sounds interesting. The scroll/pamphlet. Are there any pictures of that?

It looks something like this from YesAsia's site

http://www.yesasia.com/global/koda-k...0-en/info.html

The photos are a bit tiny but it's hands down the most innovative pamphlet I've seen as a concert good

TABOO and BUT are great songs to show others. I also usually go with Hot Stuff, because who doesn't love Hot Stuff??

My friends and I had a twerk competition to Introduction ~Bon Voyage~ once lol and I always show JUICY to my friends because they never really expect J-Pop to be sexy, plus the bottle scene haha

^ Mama Kuu twerking on bottles since 2006 is the best thing to show to other people

I used to show Hot Stuff also for some people but lately I think it sounds too dated to be enjoyable for someone new to Kuu. I hadn't thought of presenting Dreaming Now!, that is indeed an awesome starting point. I should also start showing them Like It

Kingdom and JAPONESQUE are the kind of album that is hard to just judge the songs alone, everything together makes both albuns stand out on her discography.

Kingdom is a great album, with more good songs that bad. I can listen to the whole album without thinking to skip any song.
JAPONESQUE is also a good album, but the problem imo is that most of the songs doesn't go all the way, there is always something missing, like ESCALATE, Brave, No Man's Land. The songs are good, but not great.

I really like UNIVERSE, is one of my favorites, but the flow of the album is such a mess... Can We Go Back > SUPERSTAR - Lick me♥ > Work it Out. wth

Black Cherry is so overrated and weak in my opinion, the only songs that are worth listen to (besides the singles) are Get Up&Move!! and Puppy, the rest is so blah. And I can't with an album with two times the same awful song.

TRICK is like a black sheep on her discography, because some songs are SO great (show girl, TABOO, Driving) but then we have Your Love (I still can't believe this is a HIRO song), Joyful... The same goes to Dejavu, with good songs being overshadowed by bad ones.

And btw, I love MORE! That performance from Kingdom Tour is so great.

A friend of mine was at home when I was watching some Kuu PVs on my TV and on the other day he asked me a link to download the mp3 of a song saying "The one with the piano, Dancing Away" and I was "wat", "The one she dances in the rain" he said, and I "... You mean Dance In The Rain?" He was like "omg now it makes much more sense"
