I hope someone makes a .mkv or .mp4 rip of that jpopsuki .ISO file because that one is way too huge for my laptop to cope with. It's better if the files are somewhere between 3-5gb instead. My laptop can cope with those pretty well.
As for the Koda Kumi database, I love the idea. I gotta surf there more because it's fun 8D And Corvina's translation for NO ME WITHOUT YOU is good enough for me to understand what she sings about. I have seen translations of Kuu's songs that suck real hard by making absolutely no sense. This one doesn't. Good job.

@Corvina That's great! Maybe we can share informations to both sites. haha
@pimenta I would really appreciate this! I was looking for the sales but most of them seems not to be updated. @thinkingoutloud89: I'll totally use your pics! Thank you! And thanks for the good thoughts, you guys! ![]() I'm downloading the blu-ray and I can make a mkv of the file, but my ratio is almost exploding with this gigantous non-freeleech file (I'm not even downloading the file as I'm typing this to upload another file, so I can have a good ratio haha).

Thanks for the translation, Corvina! No wonder why she opened The Artist with it, lyrics very fitting for the situation
And now I am even more curious to see how its PV is gonna be like hahahahaKaled, I knew about the project but still, amazing work you're doing! I am sorry I couldn't help with more pages last week but things are a mess here lol Either way, let's keep on working on it

I'm sorry I'm so late, I didnt have that much time because of work and school ~_~ the artist live looks really amazing, I'm loving the outfits especially the first segment one. On And On sounds so good, I'm glad it doesnt sound like her usual ballads and WOML. NO ME WITHOUT YOU seems to be the more friendly one for that case. I dont like that globe song so I'm ok with this cover, its definitely better though than the original version because of kuu's vocals. (by listening to this cover you can realize kuu could easily cover some ayu's a song for album tracks lol) thats so nice from you kaled to make that website. I have recently found a site that has some original stills of lay down MV but I'm trying to find the link, I will post it eventually. thanks for the effort! And Kaled thanks for making an extensive database website for Kuu , it's much appreciated & likewise for those chipping in to make it possible It's not easy to do something like this so this most certainly will come in handy for future new and existing Kuu fans

Thanks, kaled!
Now I'm able to translate the survey bit. Note: They just asked 50 fans out of about 30,000, who attended both Saitama dates. Q: What age are you? 01. 20's 02. Teens 03. 30's 04. 40's Q: At what age did you become a Kuu fan? 01. Teens 02. 20's 03. 30's 04. younger than teens Q: How often did you attend a Kuu live? 01. 6-10 times 02. 11-20 times 03. 21 times or more 04. 3-5 times 05. This is the first time 06. 2nd time Q: Your favourite album? 01.「WALK OF MY LIFE」(2015年3月15日) 02.「Bon Voyage」(2014年2月26日) 02. 「Dejavu」(2011年3月2日) 02. 「Black Cherry」(2006年12月20日) 05. 「UNIVERSE」(2010年2月3日) (not a mistake, looks like the three albums in the middle got the same amount of votes) Q: The most troubling question: Your favourite song? 01. walk walk was mentioned, but most fans simply said they can't choose. Too tired to translate the MC quotes question nicely. But the first two are not to give up on your dreams and the third is the one from WOML album about living the life you want and not for others.

VIVI magazine is having a twitter campaing for Kuu.
You can send her questions through #kodakumi_vivi and they might be used in an article coming in the issue for March 2016 next year.

Interesting results for the survey, but then again, 50 out of 30k doesn't mean much... Still, I surprised to see WOML in #1, it's nice that the public seems to really like her newer release

This is random, but am I the only one who thinks that the 12 singles project was amazing? The fact that it was a success even more so. If something like that were to have happened here in the U.S. with the Billboard charts, it would be record breaking. Does anyone know Japan's reaction towards the 12 singles project? Was it seen as a big deal?

I think it's one of the most amazings projects ever. The theme of the covers, the PVs, songs, everything was really good.
It was a huge marketing deal, and at the same time it was really risky to her image, since she was EVERYWHERE during that time. Funny thing is that a little before the project, she released BEST ~first things~ and the promotion for the album wasn't as agressive as it was for Butterfly / the project itself, for example. A little summary of that era: - 8 of 12 singles had tie-in, and some of them had more than one. - she was releasing a brand new music video each week, this is madness if you think about it haha - around 20 TV performances were recorded for the promotion, and at the same time she was still performing her hits on TV specials, like Butterfly. Around 30 performances during 4 months. I think the only time that people were anxious about her release, after the project, and to kinda compare the publicity, was during 4 hot wave. I saw once that the project was on oricon ranking with the most singles on top 10 at the same time and also the most singles released on a short amount of time from a singer, but I don't have a reliable source for this information.

I remember the comments about the release of the 12 singles, it was mentioned it was a huge risk because it could go either extremely well or extremely bad. Thankfully it was really well promoted and worked really well for her. It was indeed crazy if you think about it releasing so much and promoting so much in just a few months, but I think it was really amazing because it was really well done.
And the design of the singles and the fact that they form an image both in the back and with the obi also helps, it makes you need to have them all... I just love having the picture of kuu on my shelf formed by 12 different CDs I don't really buy Kuu's singles, but those were just brilliant and I couldn't resist getting them all.

I really love that 12 singles project even though it happened almost a year before I became a fan of hers. I wish I had been a fan during that thing though because those times were great. I'm glad it was so popular tbh. If it hadn't been, I wouldn't have songs like Get It On or Love goes like or Someday or you to get obsessed with~

Nail Max pics look pretty, I love when she goes for this simplistic fashion (and given it's a nails magazine it makes sense to make her nails grab more attention than her outfits hahahah)
The poll is really interesting, I didn't expect Dejavu to make to this top 5 or WOML to be the first one! Kuu must be really happy to see her recent work being in her fans favourites

ooooh the good ol' days
I became a huge Kuu fan during the Butterfly period so I went through the whole ˜ss˜ experience and it was AMAZING. I remember being so anxious and excited to see what she was bringing next. I freaked out with every single thing (except KAMEN lmao) I was just a teenager so I was more easily impressed but still. It was summer here so the whole album was my summer jam. It brings back so much memories! <3 |
