And to everyone else, I'm not among the people saying that she copied or w/e, but I think it should be fine to say it is reminiscent of 'LOVE & PEACE's cover. And who really cares if it's not original? I mean c'mon, you guys can get so critical with Ayu's material when it's not really necessary. They ARE decent covers, isn't that good enough? I personally think these are some of the best covers Ayu's released in awhile.

I don't think anyone claimed that ayu started it, but niether did sifow.. I know I was trying to say that a person on a white background is not very unique and has been done a million times. I doubt they looked at some cover and thought "hey, we're gonna do that! Let's copy!"

No, I meant that people keep going 'noo, that doesn't look like ayu's cover at aaaaaaaaall'... and how they keep defending everything when I think everybody knows (as you said) that the cover is not original. So there's no point in defending it and keep going for ages and ages when the point is already made, get what I mean?

Ehh.....I really can't stand it when people defend Ayu like a maniac. I luv Ayumi too but sometimes I laugh at her or whatever. I mean, we are still showin' her some luv. So why not poke fun at her for a minute or two. True, I cold-heartedly understand you defending Ayu because I'm kinda that way with Hikki, Namie, and BoA. lol I just wanna let you know that I still luv ayu just as much as you.

I think it's more like some people keep saying that she copied sifow rather than just saying that the concept's overused or she didn't start the concept. And I think that's what people are defending. That yes, the butterfly idea is not original, had not been for years, but no, she did not copy from Sifow.

And I don't get why you say Ayu looks like Sifow. (Although I do remember when Sifow first debuted some says that she looks like a cross between Ayu and Kuu)

Well, the point is that people repeatedly brought up the stupid "resemblance" to sifow, despite there being white backgrounds+butterflies on two different covers on Mirrorcle even though people were like "UH WE GET IT STOP. :|"

Ayu's cover actually reminds me of 70s style and that lead me to think that the cover might have something to do with france like the PV and all. So randomly brigitte bardot's named came to mind!, did some google searching and found this::

Just because of some butterflies, some hair curls ...some people are accusing ayu copies sifow and Shizuka kudo...well, if i want to, i could WASTE my whole day, searching randomly for albums/singles covers of artistes that similar to each other...but I won't.

If you still want to compare,
then, Madonna copies image of Marilyn Monroe's image, Farah Fawcett's hairstyle(70's artiste), Madonna also copied Ayu in her concert 2006/2007, where she appeared with a round-like-ball (just like Ayu in her 2001 Live), Britney copies Ayumi Hamasaki in her Toxic video, Namie Amuro copies Ayumi Hamasaki in her video Wishing For the same star(the diamonds on the body-Kanariya PV), Ayu copies Christina Aguilera's image in Ourselves PV....

this issue will never stop as we will tend to find more similarities if we compare artistes' cover singles/albums, fashion, style or what ever it is...so let us not to discuss over this issue anymore.
