ASIA TOUR 2008 ~10th Anniversary~ setlists and pictures [III]

General comments on final concert (overlapping over what was mentioned):

- She messed up on first line of "evolution" lyrics.
- For the dress with the feathers behind her, she again couldn't get it attached correctly for the first verse. So Go-mi helped her.
- As someone mentioned, for the intro of the MC section for the a ccappella, whenever someone said the words "negai" (wish), they would play the first line of NEVER EVER. "moshimo datte hitotsu dake no"...and Yocchan would sing "negai ga kanau nara." LOL They did it 3 times today and Ayu said it was the first time for him to do that many times so we were lucky.
- They played clips of some of the a ccappellas. People reacted when they played Monochrome. lol She actually sounded really good in most, if not all, the clips.
- Ayu sang, and predicted that it would be, "Who..." Yocchan said it was a clear #1 from the votes.
- When Ayu was talking with Peco and Princess (am I confusing the two?), yocchan ad-lipped their conversation. He made it a convo about katsudon (correct me if I'm wrong). When Ayu held up two fingers, he said "I had two bowls so who had three?" (general idea of what he said) It was hilarious. He interrupted Ayu's ability to concentrate. lol
- We did the wave to congratulate her. It started from the 2nd floor North side, then south, then 1st floor north, south, and finally from front to back on arena. Yocchan said "10sshuunen..."...and each section said each part of "o me de to u."
- Zin came down from the ceiling with the ribbon for his MC portion. He said he was hanging on it ever since the a ccappela part. Poor him. haha
- Vocals overall...umm...I think they weren't as good as the time I saw her on the 2nd date, but it wasn't as bad as some of her worst. She had some trouble during "is this LOVE?" I think...
- I don't think she lipsynced Marionette...as someone suggested from yesterday's concert. (d)lma is possibly lipsynced...though only for the part when she's on the spinning thing.
- She didn't really cry in this concert. I guess she already cried yesterday.
- oh and...sad to say but she was....not...thin. I wouldn't call her "fat" but she's clearly slightly more...filled up? lol Her arm is not not thick....and I feel like her waist area was nearly a straight line...o_o...

-Goto Maki was spotted in the guest section. She was holding Ayu's fan too. (Some say they saw Koda too. Not sure...)
- Apparently Subaru collapsed after the concert and was taken away by an ambulance.

Is this sure to be the DVD version though? I REALLY hope it isn't. The overall concert sounds like somewhat of a really bad tape:

- The dress with the feathers fell apart, probably during one of my fav performances, my name's WOMEN? Awww. I hated that during AT07...
- Her vocals werent really good so they might polish it up as much as for AT07 DVD. I hated that. It sounded way too polished..
- She didn't cry a lot. I know its not very realistic and kind of silly of me to ask, but I always love her cry performances and missed them in AT07... I want another walking proud/untitled ~for her~/Memorial address. :/ I think End roll/HANABI would have been amazing for that....
- Who... was the acapella lol. I <3 Who..., but I think monochrome would have been even more awesome. *____*
(- I don't want another Yoyogi concert on DVD lollll. How about another concert hall this time? )

And yea, I dont have any trouble with Ayu being chubby either... IMO it makes her look more friendly/cute. I just hope it doesnt affect sales or w/e. ^^;;


I'm still hoping that she'll have a finale (which she won't..99% sure I guess? :/) or a bigger show in the overseas areas, and that the DVD will have one of those gigs.

Isn't it double standart to don't like the non edited version and complain her vocals aren't good and then say that the edited version is too polished?

I don't like bad rl vocals, nor too polished DVD vocals.... There's a whole gap in between of not too polished DVD vocals or singing good in rl, so it's not contradictory..

But to me it's more of a matter how bad it sounded. E.g. SURREAL from CDL0708 wasnt too good but I'd prefer that to AT07 DVD's until that day's polished stuff. On the other hand, glitter froM CDL0708 was extremely bad from what I can remember so then I'd prefer the polished version...

actually what am I blabbing about. the CDL0708 DVD had great vocals. not too polished, yet very pretty.

u do know that asia tour 2007 dvd was not from yoyogi right? it was from her hometown.

I actually like the end roll/ hanabi dress...I thought the cross would be bigger but its not so it looks nice...but the hair looks messy...o_O..I wanna see zin cry. I enjoyed seeing him sweat while trying to teach the audience how to dance in the cdl...lol hope subaru is ok.

Ok so how about the other weeping CDL ballads? The TV versions werent bad..

BTW she sung more songs off key and she wasnt crying during those, so.... She couldnt have done the song perfectly that night even if she wasnt crying. @_@

yes yes, I realized the tattoo too! its nice! I wonder who was in the guest seats, I saw 2 people with really shanny dresses... yesterday I could see the people there, but today I was far so I couldnt see the faces. I hope subaru is ok!

whenever you practice the MY ALL dance, for the hand waves before the crossing arms, shaking during the crossing arms, the push-hand out/open arms wide part...you have to say ZIN.

So, you should be going ZIN ZIN ZIN throughout the dance.

I'd prefer bad singing to no emotion in songs at all.

But like I also said in the post you're referring to, that she wasn't actually WEEPING in the ENTIRE song. Sure she was sad, but there's a nice line between being sad aka. walking proud style and still singing it perfectly, and really crying like in only SOME parts of the song and not being able to hit the notes properly. That actual CRYING/weeping was more like the beginning and ending of chorusses. Yet she sounded bad in almost the whole chorus. So no, I dont blame her bad singing to the weeping and honestly idc why she did sing bad

As for an acappella Who... - *shrug* Cool, I guess. I mean she did "Who..." last year as the show closer so hearing just a few bits of it without musical accompaniment doesn't wow me too much. Still, that's nice that people got to hear it.

Sure, but then how do you explain that she cries during walking proud, Memorial address and some other songs without sounding off-key (much)? I know I cant lol. Unless she faked the emotion during those songs, which I highly doubt
