i hate that clown costume even more now. i really liked kingdom and black cherries booklets so this is disappointing!

so far from what i hear the album is pretty good! the intro is so hot

Alright, now that the first impressions are worn off, here we go:

01.INTRODUCTION FOR TRICK: Possibly her worst introduction ever, I sat there with my mouth open and a "WTF" look on my face the whole time.
02.TABOO: Kuu what are you doing, TABOO is like the album's saving grace, WHY are you putting it at the BEGINNING!?
03.show girl: This is the only album track I've liked. On an album where I only liked one of the singles. This is going to go well. show girl's just a fun song.
04.Your Love: I attempted to stab myself while listening to this, her vocals aren't all that good. Also, it feels WAY WAY WAY too long.
05.stay with me: Great, lets roll from a boring ballad into an EVEN MORE boring ballad. Lovin the flow here, really >.>...
06.This is not a love song: Admittedly, it's not THAT bad, but it's far from being good. It was around here I attempted to hang myself, btw.
07.Driving: It's still too noisy, but in high quality, it's listenable and the chorus is rather catchy. Her vocals are good here, so that's always a plus.
08.Bling Bling Bling: High quality made this song WORSE. I didn't think it was possible, but it DID.
09.That Ain't Cool: What are you up too Kuu, trying to get the bad songs out of the way in one shot?
10.Hurry Up!: ...something good? On this album? This is a really fun song, I love how her voice was recorded, and the rock-edge of it all. Definitely shocking that there was actually something good on this album.
11.Moon Crying: aaaaaaand we're back to garbage, it was nice while it lasted. I still can't listen to this song, I don't for the life of me know why, but I can't.
12.JUST THE WAY YOU ARE: I'm going to do a little math here: Kuu's voice+This track=No. Her voice just doesn't work in this track. I do, however, like the composition and arrangement of this track, I just don't like her voice in it.
13.Joyful: really quite boring. At about the 2 minute mark, I found myself going "is this over yet?" It's like WIND part 2, except, nowhere near as good.
14.愛のことば: Thank you Kuu, thank you. I love how this ballad starts simplistic and THEN builds WITHOUT being all showy ala Yume no Uta and it's clones. And she used a choir correctly, I'm so happy~
15.Venus: lol oh Kuu you still can't speak English, but that's okay. I think she managed to pull this off pretty well, I liked the arrangement a lot. Her vocals were shaky, but it felt intentional and worked well with the song.

All in all, it had it's redeeming moments. Out of fifteen tracks, I liked 5, 5 and a half if I included the instrumentals of JUST THE WAY YOU ARE and not the vocals.

5/15, 33% of the album, so it's still a failing grade Kuu.

Hurry Up! is amazing in full. This is not a love song was ruined with her laugh . there's like 5 songs i really hate on this album the rest are pretty ok! not as good as black cherry, better than Kingdom

01.INTRODUCTION FOR TRICK: HOT FIYAH! Kuu always has great openers and this is another hot one! I wish it was a full song!
02.TABOO: Amazing, of course!
03.show girl: So fun and cute! It usually takes me a while to like cutie Kuu songs, but I loved this one instantly!
04.Your Love: A really sweet urban-ish song! I love the music and her voice. It has a really nice sound and meaning.
05.stay with me: terrible. will always hate this nastiness.
06.This is not a love song: Different...and really cool omg. I wish she had made a PV for this! I really love how its danceable, but not so upbeat! It's a fun urban song~
07.Driving: AMAZING. Love it. Just perfect.
08.Bling Bling Bling: This song is such a hot mess - it makes it good. I love GHETTO TRICK Kuu.
09.That Ain't Cool: Another hot track! I hated it back in June, but it finally grew on me! How could you not get this song stuck in your head and love it?!
10.Hurry Up!: IDK about this yet omg...
11.Moon Crying: I didn't like this when MOON came out either. But the chorus was always constantly in my head. I found myself liking it now... o:
12.JUST THE WAY YOU ARE: So sweet and cute! I love the strings music part~ This song is really nice.
13.Joyful: I hated the preview - but this song is really cute now on the album. Especially after the last song. It's cute and fun and happy style!
14.愛のことば: Meh! It's OK - but not amazing.
15.Venus: BEAUTY ENGLISH COVER! I LOVE THIS SONG! KumiKuu really made this song really nicely! I love it~

The album's ok, there are a couple of terrible songs like Bling x 3, Your love and the Fergie song, some are less impressive like JUST THE WAY YOU ARE, but oh well over all the album isn't bad, the past studio albums thought me not to expect much from here. So I am actually quite content with TRICK.

oh and people you should just ignore Luv, it's way better if you think her posts don't exist at all, as she tends to get really nasty when she doesn't like someone's opinion. XD

I just got finished listening to the album all the way through and well... It was exactly what I was expecting: not bad, but not good. I haven't liked an album of here's almost all the way through since secret.

The only tracks that will be making it onto my iPod from TRICK are:
TABOO, stay with me, Driving, That Ain't Cool, Moon Crying, JUST THE WAY YOU ARE, and Ai no Kotoba.

This is not a love song - 7/10 really good, she needs more R&B songs like this
Driving - 10/10 a really good fun track
Bling Bling Bling - 8/10 if you don't take it so seriously you will love it

I love TRICK!! Its amazing!! I can't stop listening to Venus and Driving Your Love and This is not a love song surprised me. They are actually pretty good. Bling Bling Bling just turns me off X_X

LMAO, that's exactly how I feel about that song.

Anyways, the album is pretty good. I think Kingdom was better but I've only listened to most of the tracks on TRICK once so maybe it'll change. I LOVE the cd scans though.
