Pop Diva Lee Hyori left for India today for volunteer work with World Vision,the International Relief Development Organization.She is to spend a week in the country to help with charity activities.

Lee Hyori tweeted this afternoon : "I'm leaving for India.See you soon." and attached a picture in which she appears without any make-up on.Even though she is wearing a casual and comfortable outfit,she still appears fashionable as she's wearing a large T-Shirt and wide legged pants which are trendy this summer.She completed the look with thongs and a kaki cap.

In the picture she shared,Hyori is sitting with her luggages at the airport and seems to be waiting for her flight.
Rather than showing off the usual elegant and glamorous image of the top star Lee Hyori,she showed her true self.Netizens response to Lee Hyori's picture was hot.

Through World Vision,Lee Hyori has been able to sponsor a five year old Indian girl that planned to meet during her trip in the country.

Lee Hyori will return to Korea on July 9th.She will stay in Mumbai to take care of children and do volunteering work.

Many people are eagerly anticipating Lee Hyo Ri’s comeback.

Lee Hyo Ri hasn’t released any music since her 4th album which was released in April of last year. Lee Hyo Ri’s angent B2M Entertainment said, “Lee Hyo Ri’s album will be released later this year. She is choosing songs for the album right now.”

He added, “If the album isn’t released this year for some unavoidable reason, Lee Hyo Ri will appear on many Entertainments shows.”

Lee Hyo Ri is taking legal action against a songwriter on her last album for plagiarism. Because of this event, Lee Hyo Ri is paying close attention to making her new album.

In addition, the official talked about Lee Hyo Ri’s acting. “Lee Hyo Ri is not a professional actress, so I think it may be hard for her to act and sing at the same time. Lee Hyo Ri, if given the chance, wants to shoot a film so she can become a better actress,” he said.

Top K-Pop stars to hold free concert in New York!

Some of the top Hallyu stars will be coming to New York in October!

The free concert from KBS, open to all ages, will be held on October 9th 2011 at Randall’s Island Park in New York and will feature many top artists, the tentative list includes TVXQ, Wonder Girls, 2PM, B2ST, SHINee, Se7en, Sistar19, Lee Hyori, and 4Minute! (*Note: the lineup may change)

The concert will begin at around 7:00PM and is estimated to bring in about 10,000 fans.

The concert will promote the globalization of Korean culture through live music and performances in the US, but will also be featured in South Korea through a broadcast by KBS.

Lee Hyo Ri shows says, “I guess there is no such model as myself for soju



On the 17th, KBS 2TV Entertainment News visited Lee Hyo Ri’s commercial shooting site. Hyo Ri, who have shot soju commercials for the past couple of years, showed off her sexiness by wearing a violet dress.

Lee Hyo Ri led the interview in a friendly atmosphere by saying, “I’m embarrassed about shooting soju commercials for so long. But oh well, I guess there is no such model as myself.”

Hyo Ri received the nickname of “Volunteer Angel” during the short hiatus from the entertainment industry. She revealed that she volunteers on various animal institutions. Even on this broadcast, she appeared with her adopted dog Soon Sim and showed how much she loves animals.

Lee Hyo Ri revealed, “Soon Sim loves cameras since she’s always comes to the shooting site with me.”

Hyo Ri said that she is learning to write a song and play the guitar, and revealed that she plans to release a new album next year.
