^ Yeah, it seems talkin' 2 myself is the single to beat. I think it really might have a chance to reach that for first week sales since it's already doing pretty well, and there's still the end of the week stuff to be added. It might manage.

Her singles from A Song for xx had lower first week sales obviously, but if we look at her recent period, the lowest first week sales are for Talkin' 2 myself, which is 70,325.

It looks like MOON/blossom will be just above that ; )

Oricon is really taking a holiday today & yesterday LOL xD

cos they haven't updated their site at their end man , probably all the people are using Umi no Hi as an excuse to do a getaway or 2 to the beach

but anyway the sales for MOON / blossom are fine to me . So whoever predicted that it will cross about 70K or so in the 1st week , I will buy you dinner xD

ayu's first week sales used to be so not front loaded. XDD
It's like most of the sales were from the 2nd weeks onwards!
I checked again and the sales of S/S and Yw.../B were both around 600+ from the estimation.
So if the estimation is true (or not less) and the official sales will be better, it might end up with around 70,050 for the first week.

Ohno Satoshi who's the leader of ARASHI

he released Yukai Tsukai Kaibutsu-Kun which's a song that he sung solo in the drama Kaibutsu-Kun in which he plays the lead role/actor

ARASHI's Monster was used as the main drama theme song

Most people in Japan can't even sell 50k (let alone 70k) for an album, these sales are nothing to shake your head at/be upset about. Avex is doing extremely well with their female solo artists!

^ I have to agree lol. That is so true about Japanese artists...Why is that anyways? Is it because the Japanese public is picky?

I mean it may not be the best for Ayu, but she still is doing well considering lol.

They aren't picky, people can rent audio cds in Japan, with both legal and illegal downloads, the state of the world economy it's quite obvious why things are the way they are.
