It seems that both GACKT and Ayu will do a project with Leslie Kee.

seems like GCAKT is doing an international project or something in 120-something countries...as I understand he wants to get the fund up and running in them too, with volunteers for that... but I'm not sure if that's the part of the project that Leslie heard about...*shrugs*

Maybe...ayu and GACKT will do a special photobook to raise money for the relief effort. OMG I would buy it in a heartbeat! I know, I may be way off here but that would make my year! ♥

I think I will tweet all of them and support this project. Whatever it may be, I'm pretty sure it will be great if Leslie Kee, Ayu and GACKT are all involved.

I like how ayu has been retweeting the English lyric translations to some of her songs. Sometimes I'm iffy about if some translations really get out what she's trying to say, but the ones she's retweeting give me confidence those certain translations of her songs are accurate.

I'm not liking a gacktXAyu-collab. gackt is not nearly popular and good enough to be working with Ayu.. then again, Naota wasn't exactly a top-selling artist either~

I think you are only stating your opinion when you say GACKT isn't good enough to work with her, because I beg to differ on that. Ayu and he were friends in the past, possibly still are. And if its for charity, why should it matter who Ayu collaborates with? It's for a good cause. Anyhow it doesn't seem like they will be singing together anyhow, as of now. It only seems like they will be working with Leslie Kee, possibly for his charity photobook.

Popularity doesn't matter at all, GACKT is in a certain way a musical genius, his compositions and lyrics are mostly stunning and imo he's among rare people who can stand next to Ayu and not seem ridicilous as far as their music goes.

Yes Gackt is very amazing. I don't know what he was on while making his last album, but most of his other songs are extremely epic/amazing.

I didn't know he composed. I bet he IS musical.. but i just can't stand to even look at him; nor listen to his voice. I guess it's a personal thing then.. the thing is, (outside of japan), gackt-fans are usually quite... the outsiders.. it's a really specific type of people that like him I think
