She replied to my silly little message and even reposted my silly little picture saying she was glad I had bought a copy of Onkalo (... which is only logical, considering that's what makes her money, but it was still sweet ok). Feeling slightly nerdy joy here. Gotta love social networks. Day = made.

I kinda did too. I'm still drowning in my nerdy joy and feeling extremely elated. Seriously, it's so awesome that I could contact my favorite artist just like that and she answered super sweetly right away and... yeah. I've never even really thought stuff like could happen so easily! The wonders of internet age, eh!

(And you really need to follow her on Facebook if you haven't yet - and if you have a FB account. She's great. She always replies to fan messages and actually posts stuff.)

And omg she posted that picture on twitter too. Not the most flattering picture to have floating around the internet. But I'm not about to start complaining.

I'm really surprised Do As Infinity already announced a new album. o_o Feels like TIME MACHINE just came out. They made an excellent pick for the release date though; album titled Do As Infinity X, their 10th album, coming out on 10/10... I think I can see a pattern here. Just watch the damn thing turn out to have only 10 tracks Well, I hope all the best for this album, though I do have slightly mixed feelings towards it initially!

I may just buy this album... for this song. Ugh. At least I don't own the other albums.. So it's justified i guess.

Rola's "Memories" is so good...
I was not expecting such a well done song from her ^^;

Her voice is soothing. Not sure how much is altered or anything, but I hope she continues releasing... I wouldn't mind hearing more from her.

^ I also liked this song. I first heard it on last week's MSte. Rola said that she wasn't nervous and kept smiling and laughing, but I don't why but I felt nervous and worried about her. I felt very relieved when she finished the song I hope she'll keep her singer career.

btw, I opened this thread just to ask where is Nakashima Mika lately? I haven't heard about her for a while. I just checked jps and it seems like she hasn't made any TV-live this year.... She's no more among stars like ayu, kuu, hikki and namie, though I remember that she used to be almost as big as they were.

^ she was in NYC the bigest part of the year for voice training and she also took acting classes. She's now back in Japan, recorded a few songs. She's also going to release a new single on September 2012, which will be the theme song for the upcoming movie "Resident Evil" in which, she'll also be featured as a zombie like in the last movie of the series (it was described as a ballad ~~)

She recently was at Comic-con in San Diego to promote the movie with the main cast, and she'll be there also for the world premiere in Tokyo on September 3rd

So expect more Mika during the last part of the year
