I think BoA is trying to tell the Americans off. The Asian version of the MV looks more suited for America. This version is so cheap.

I agree that it's not as awesome as the Korean version, but it's not the worst of the bunch of PV's she's done. Plus, I think the dancing is kind of nice, wished there was more to it though

EDIT: it's hard to compare it with the asian version, but i do think this fit america. i kinda liked the intro with her PVs in the begining (although it looked fanmade ), and BoA had some better outfits here than in the other MV (except that dress with orange or red lipstick, lol) but overall, it could have been better, but it was just good. i still knew i'd prefer the asian video over this, anyway. but at least my curiousity is gone, haha. good luck, BoA.

It's a hot mess. Tacky, cheap, poorly CGed, messily shot & edited, poorly choreographed, and what's with the clip of the sun?

If they really plan on going ahead and using this video in the US, there's not much else to do but sit and wait for this whole American debut thing to be over like a bad dream. They have an amazing song, but a video that is an embarrassment. It in no capacity shows that BoA is who the introduction video says she is. It instead shows an amateur--which would be fine if she was an amateur.

The message board on her official US website now is loaded with messages from fans (in both Korean and English) pleading with her to not use the US version. They say it's tacky, crappy, poorly made, over CG-ed, and untrue to BoA's true potential.

SM must know that the video is as bad as it is--otherwise they probably wouldn't have produced an alternate version which is exponentially better. The Cha Eun Taek version was filmed months after the Diane Martell version, which leads me to believe they wanted to scrap DM's video, but didn't want to burn a bridge so early in BoA's US career, so they kept it and just made a B version. Hopefully they will at least use both versions in the US, which seems plausible as her official US website advertises both. (If one really was to be used only in Asia, and the other in the US, the respective videos would appear only on their respective websites). The terms "US version" and "Asian version" are fan-coined, aren't they? Officially, they have simply been referred to as "A" and "B".

they flashed pictures and showed the sun rising as a metaphor of her having sex, for crying out loud!

The American video made me cringe....and I'm american. I found it funny how the dancing was dumbed down for the american version, Ugh. I hate it I wanted to turn it off right in the middle, I hope they show both videos here, or rotate both.........the american one sucks, grrr I'm made they even filmed it!!!! what a waste...I'm dissapointed. they barely even showed the face of guy in the video thats suppose to be her love interest.

Oh God, why can't they just air the asian version?! It's much better than this PV. The dance moves were a big bore and BoA was trying to be something she isn't. The asian version totally fit the song but the American version just made BoA look like a wannabe.

Wow. Now I really hope VH1 and all the other music channels DON'T air this PV that much. Cause BoA is gonna flop with this song anyways...

Honestly, what the **** is SM thinking? They seriously can't give two ****s about BoA's career in the US if they used the amazing video for their own country and the embarrassingly bad one for America.
