^ Seems she's improved on more than just her voice.

Am I the only person thinking that this PV makes ayu look older beside the ending? I totally agree with identity idea of this PV. IMO, Ayu may also notice that she is getting older and she dreams about her perfect life that she cannot have in reality at her age.. I am sure that there are lots of people like her if she comes to US, and she can have such perfect life .. lol (joking)

Yea I get the concept, but I thought it was a bit boring. I loved the end more than the rest of the PV. It was really funny to hear some white kids call Ayu mom though. XD I said, OMG, Ayu's a soccer mom! XD

The pv unfortunately is a bit boring. I wish ayu was the one singing instead of the kids. VR has a story to go on so I dun really mind ayu not singing until she was standing on the oil tank. In SS, there's no story at all except throwing out the concept of what an ideal life should be... Like we're watching 5 mins of her peaceful life with no plot at all. I thought she would sing in the 2nd verse, but it ended up the kids singing.
I have to say tho, she looks really pretty in the pv.. (not the reality ayu. She looked like Britney Spears waking up from the party...) Quote:

I thought it was sweet
I interpreted it as at the end she was the stereotypical 'rock star' who is alone and she dreams about the life and family she wish she had. Very nice! |

IMO that could be the expression of someone having a hangover

I love the opening scene though with Mom-Ayu picking her (white lol) kids up from school. So freaking cute. When I saw the video start to get distorted and Ayu at the pool, I was like "oh boy! Something's going to happen!" But I didn't expect modern day rock Ayu to wake up alone on a couch, haha. I know Ayu's talked about surprise endings before (Don't Look Back) but I think this PV has one of the most surprising/unexpected endings I've seen. (I'll be honest, I was disappointed with Don't Look Back's "surprise.") Mm... I wonder if this is how Ayu feels about her career right now; wishing she were a "normal" mom with kids and a husband (and a dog) living a "normal" life. Oh. And her lips look normal in this PV LOL No ducks or fish-lips going on. |

the kids in the beginning are white kids...the ones that call Ayu mom.

I liked it, it dragged on a bit and the ending really made it, the only thing that took away from it, is like a few of you said, the kids trying to sing the japanese lyrics, cut that out and maybe add a few more scenes of Ayu cooking a family dinner or something and it would have been a really great PV.
Am i the only one who thought she looked hot at the end? ![]()

by the way, here is my post on the other thread about my thought of this PV from the intro until interlude, i hate this PV a lot... but from interlude toward the ending, the mood of the PV start to build up, they use the a little bit of fairyland effect... for someone that can't swim, it's really brave that ayu willing to splashing into the pool in that position...i believe it's not easy for her to do that... the ending part shocks me a lot...

I could not help but to laugh through this pv.
The beginning with the white kids calling her Mom. Haha. & then the end! Lol. I just wish there was more Ayu time and less kid time. |

It was very sweet but then sad, because it was all a dream... or a nightmare? since she woke up pretty distressed xD
Its like 2 different lifestyles, the one when you settle down and have a happy family, or the one where you party hard your entire life and never mature... I like these ideas a lot ![]() I wonder if ayu really wants to stop "partying so hard" in her life and maybe wants to settle down? lovely concepts! |

This is a happy song so I don't get the stupid ending. And why was 9/10 shots of the children? :/
Seems more like a cheap album-only PV rushed in than one of the two PVs of her 50th single. Whatever. I'm liking the song more and more regardless.

I thought it was pretty horrible up until the ending. [strike]I couldn't help but think up kidnapping jokes at the beginning i am horrible[/strike]
I think it is reality vs fantasy, and exactly that. Even the "dream" she had doesn't really exist. There may be perfect days but there are no perfect families or perfect lives. It seems like a "the grass is greener" pv if nothing else. The fact that it's showing past era style is making me wonder if maybe she's dreaming about her own past in the PV as opposed to an alternative life. Just throwing different thoughts out there. |

Why is there so much hate for it..?I really like it. from the beginning to end. Although I wish she would've incorporated more family things in the pv(showing the history). That would have made it excellent. But overall I really really like it.
