for me it was wake me up, snowy kiss, and sweet scar.

Pride is not my favorite song of Ayu's but dang, she does a good job on it. As for LOVE again, Missing is one of my favorite tracks from the album too. There is just something about it that makes me love it. That and Wake me up.

I don't even listen to the original version. For me the remix kicks the original's ass so much. When the song starts it's just amazing. It makes me want to strut in heels.

Am I the only person here who doesn't like the "A BALLADS version" of A Song for XX?
Not saying I hate it, I can listen to it, but IMO it doesn't fit with the concept of the album.

^I cant listen to the original. It doesn't sound as powerful or emotional as the ballads version. It sounds kinda "boring" to me.

I love the version on LOVEppears disc 2 as well.

I barely listen to the original ASFXX version, I usually go for the A BEST version cause of her voice. And while I love the A BALLADS version, I think the original is still more emotional for me, it's more raw and sincere imo.
Talking on this, probably my favourite performance of the song is the one from the 2001 Dome tour tbh, as she kept on singing it through the years it started to fit her voice better but it got so... artificial... idk the movements with her hair, the poses, they were not spontaneous. Like, if you watch the a-nation' 08 perfomance and the one from the Asia Tour, it's basically the same thing but without the rain. On the Dome Tour though it's just ayu desperatly singing it out of her heart. It just give me chills every single time I watch it. And that's the same difference of feelings I get between the A BALLADS and original versions.

ikr it was just amazing she performed that remix on CDL, it was something I never though that could happen

The only version of ASFXX I don't love is the A BEST remake. Apart from that, everything is amazing. It's one of those rare songs like HANABI that any remix of is instant love.

^ I totally agree about the DOME TOUR performance being the best, too. I know I've said this once recently, but the a-nation 08 and other later performances of the song do nothing for me. The song is so powerful that choreographing every kick and every scowl squashes the meaning and raw power behind the song
