"Me ga atte" at the very beginning sounds somewhat like this to me: "matome atte" or "mahou me atte" or something.
I don't even know if it's a real word. It's just the sounds that I picked up.

edit: the more I listen, the more I head "mahou me" or maybe "me hou me"
