Just listened to her singles, she's very talented! I'll definitely keep an eye on her works. 7 WONDERS is better than LOVE EVOLUTION in my opinion, they are both strong singles though.

I can't say that I really like this...i think she can be good on singing ballad song, but not this kind of ballad style.

The part i love the most is the interlude part when she played piano.

Nishiuchi Mariya's 4th single to be released in October

It's been revealed that Nishiuchi Mariya's fourth single (currently untitled) will be released on October 28.


Nishiuchi has recently been active in many different areas. Her last single "Arigato Forever...", which was released in May, was the first song she wrote and composed herself. She's currently playing the lead role in the TBS drama 'Hotel Concierge'. Her upcoming single will be released in three different versions: Limited Edition (CD+DVD+Mini Photo Book), CD+DVD Edition, and CD-Only Edition. More details, such as the title and track list, will be announced in the coming days.

Regarding the new single release, Nishiuchi tweeted, "It's been determined that my 4th single will be released on October 28!! The title hasn't been decided yet! Please look forward to it!(^o^)/."

Nishiuchi Mariya to provide the theme song for live-action drama adaptation of 'Angel Heart'

Nishiuchi Mariya will release her new single "Save me" on October 28. It's been revealed that this title track was written as the theme song for NTV's drama "Angel Heart" that's scheduled to premiere on October 11.

The drama is a live-action adaptation of Hojo Tsukasa's manga series of the same title. It features the same characters as Hojo's earlier manga series "City Hunter", and it's set in a parallel universe. 'Saeba Ryo' will be played by Kamikawa Takaya, 'Xiang-Ying' by Miyoshi Ayaka, 'Makimura Kaori' by Aibu Saki, 'Liu Xin-Hong' by Miura Shohei, 'Falcon' by Brother Tom, and 'Doku' by Mickey Curtis.

"Save me" is a medium-tempo ballad that was written with the theme "human love". On the song, Nishiuchi commented, "You can say it's a step I've never taken before. I also challenged myself to a new type of melody. I was very particular when writing this song."

The new song "Save me" is amazing. I watched Angel Heart episode 1 last night.
Had to rewind and repeat the end section several times so I could listen to the song. I think I just became a fan of her music.

^^The bright side of the pv has nothing to do with the budget, that's the director of the pv who is. And really, you don't need to have a big budget to create a dark and efficient pv.

The song isn't bad. Some melodic lines in the verse remind me another song which I can't remember the title or the name of the singer. But, well, it's not something I'll listen to in repeat mode.

The PV budget is kinda low..

and the execution and everything is kinda not match with the song atmosphere...the mirror part is the best one and blend well with the song, but the rest I'm not sure. The PV didn't give any justice to the song..

Yep the pv is boring. They could have made a nice pv with playing with a tension between bright and dark sceneries. Here it just looks as simple video shoot by a father of her little girl without the love that could be convey. When I'm watching the video I feel nothing. It's very amateur to me.

The PV aside, this song really fits the mood of the Angel Heart drama imo.
