Anyways, I think Music Station once showcased the audiences "3 favorite Ayumi gestures". Ayumi laughed because it looked so ridiculous with all of them in a row.

No it's not. I think the hand motions (moving the left arm up and down) was started by Mariah Carey. If not started by her, it really became big because of her. Christina Aguilera also does it. It has been said to help the singing.

OMG, thank you for a moment of sanity! It makes me laugh how anything Ayumi does automatically becomes "her signature" or is "original". I love you all but let's be a little more realistic, lol.

no, wat i mean by "it's sooo Ayu like" meaning it's typical Ayu because she always do that as expected and her hand motions are always similar

I agree with the hand motions being like Mariah. But it does help singing, like Mariah or Ayu, Christina ect. "violently" twitching your head to the side can help you belt out that high note like Ayu does when preforming Duty or TO BE live... although not always successfully n__n"
* OMGOSH and the way AYU blinks?! I mean, it's so original! The way she dramatically closes her eyes and slowly opens them! ... sorry, I was being sarcastic. But all in fun of course. =____=~
