My parents are neutral, they really don't care about her nor do they care about any other artist I listen to I guess ^^

My lil sister [9 y/o] likes Ayu, and BoA too; sometimes she does some sound mix/playback shows for school and stuff. Last time she did 'Boys & Girls', now she's doing 'SEASONS'. So that's cool

My girlfriend doesn't really like it, but she doesn't say I shouldn't listen to it. She's cool with it, although I think she found it rather awkward when I started listening to Jpop [because before that my main musical taste concerned hardcorepunk ^^], but now it's totally normal to her ^^

As for my friends, one of my best friends is a convert too [Chrono], most of my other friends don't care and relate too her as Tjap Tjoy, which is basically Asian food. But another kid I know recently asked me who that pretty girl was I'd been using as my avatar on MSN [Ayu], and I promised to send him some songs. Hope he gets converted too ^_~ And oh yeah, there used to be a girl in my class who likes Jpop too, J R&B actually, like Crystal Kay and stuff.

A few of my friends like her, and some others mock her because of her voice, just because they don't understand what she says. My parents just refer to her as "that Asian chick" and they think I'm too obsessed with her or something.

My family doesnt know anyhting about her since I dont live at home, and my boyfriend calls her "Humiamuyami" and thinks I'm strange. My roommates are about the same... they like Bon Jovi and Motely Crue

As for my brother, he hates her...He always imitates it so weird...
He doesn't like Japanese songs at all tho not just ayumi..
But it's understandable for me cuz I wasn't a big fan of how certain Japanese singers' voices sounded before...
Now I'm kinda used to it now...

My mom still doesn't understand why I like anything Japan related for some reason, LoL~ But she 'respects' Ayu and her music when I ask her about it, but generally she doesn't think about her.

My dad too. My uncle kinda likes her, but he liked Hikki more and my sis is just plain clueless. XP

However, my mom thinks Ayu is really pretty...lol. I was watching the M PV, and she was surprised that "both girls were the same person"!! i found that hilarious...also when i went to a page that showed all of Ayu's PV scans, she was shocked to see that they were all one girl!! Nowadays she thinks that i'm listening to Ayu's music way too much...

thats exactly the same situation I have to face.
except for I dunno if my mother thinks I'm too obsessed with Ayu but I guess she doesnt really care as long as I'm happy

My Dad...he don't mind if i listen to it, obviously he's the one buying all the DVD tours and Ayu's Complete Clip box
My Mum...She likes Ayu's dress design and always makes opinions for each dress and suggest my sister and me to look like her in some dress
My two sisters..the older one thinks american music it's better (sighs...I dont really like it) and the younger one like her very much as she tries to remember all of ayu's song
My Grandma...she always ask me to sing whenever i play ayu song at her car

Everyone likes her! My family is the one who introduced me to her in the first place! And my friends think some of her PVs are weird, and call her "interesting". Lol, but they like her.

my mum thinks ayu's concerts are fantastic. my dad's neutral about it. my sister's very into jpop and she adores ayu just lyk I do. ^^
