How is it immature of me to think that Japanese has no real profanity? I speak Japanese. How is it immature to state a fact?

Yes, there are rude words in Japanese, but there are no words in the Japanese language that are "bad" to the extent that words like "****" and "****" are in English. These are words that are bleeped out on TV and radio. Words like this don't exist in Japanese.
Yep, true. My japanese friends have always said that Japanese doesn't really have curse words. I used to have a friend who didn't understand english curse words and she'd use them at rather inappropriate times. LOL!

I think somone once told me something about calling people "pumpkin head" or somethign similar though.
