hmm... its indeed a cute topic that you have here but i think normally when i am sprinting i would usually and normally breathe through my mouth more.. if not, i would faint of lack of air... i think the same applies for ayu when she is singing
Vocal effects. Changing pitches and sound streams to alter her voice. i.e; Angel's Song, Too Late, and I forgot the other songs where her voice is completely altered.

Lemme guess "she'd never use that!", then alter your voice for me record it and send it to me via email or something.

the bigger the mouth u open when u sing, ur breathing sound will be bigger, and it would be annoying especially in a slow, silent song
