anyway.. mari yaguchi (yaguchan) was fighting with ayu way back.. a real momusu fan i know said it's because momusu was way too loud when ayu was making a phone call... so they began to 'argue' on each other

i really think mari yaguchi'd not impersonate ayu because she admire her, nor because the tsunku matter.. maybe she just hasn't forget about that matter... but the momusu fan said momusu and ayu didn't dislike each other anymore....

this lil matter was once make both momusu fans and ayu fams hate each other... but not anymore

i haven't seen this video, is it just recently aired?

It was from awhile ago, probably around the time that UNITE! came out becuase she was making fun of UNITE!.

I named the clip "Evil Morning Musume - Jealous Mari Impersonates the lovely Ayumi Hamasaki.avi" on my computer.. HAHAH.. so if anyone downloads it under that name, it's originally from me ^_^

Actually, I like some of MM songs (can't believe I admitted that), so i'm not bashing them or anything, I just think that name is funny.

yep..Mari was making fun of Ayu...
not too long ago...they were doing performances on the same show...i forgot what show...
backstage in their own dressing rooms...MM which consist of 13 members then,naturally was very loud when all of them r together...so that sorta irritated Ayu in the next room..
Ayu was stressed out or something so she lost her patience n told them to lower their volume in a polite way...but MM got angry n thought that Ayu was a bit snotty n started arguing back..
Ayu was very tired so she decided not to make such a big fuss out of it n didn't talk back...but when she went to the toilet,she heard MM members talking bad about her behind her back...
Ayu got angry n complaint to the management of the show...or was it MM's manager...??i couldn't remember clearly but the problem was something like that...

I wasn't sure if that was a rumor or.

Didn't Ayu not like that they were all smoking and they're so young and in the public eye?

apparently...yes,Ayu smokes...
there was a pic posted in the forum awhile back which had a candid shot of Ayu holding a ciggarette....
we had quite a debate over it cos some agree that she smokes while some doesn't agree..
but it was quite obvious that she does cos why else would she be holding a ciggie....

hmm.. but then again.. photo editing software were always there ^^, personally i don't think she'll be smoking cause she's a singer.. but it's up to her though..

There are so many rumors about this event, lol. It's be pretty tough to find out exactly what happened.

The thing about Ayu smoking is still a mystery. The pic of her that we're talking about really does look like she's holding a cigarette, but I dunno, we could be mistaken. I'm pretty sure that Keiko from globe smokes, and she's a singer. Whatever the truth is, smoking is very bad, especially if you're a singer!

about ayu smoking: if you have uraayu..the very first picture on the preface...you see ayu (from the back) on the balcony of the hotel...playin guitar..with an ashtray and ciagrette on it....

i wonder if it means she smoke

It's a "photobook." Of course there's going to be props all over the place in each picture. If the rumor is true, then I don't understand why an ashtray and cigarrete would be left in the picture. Surely the photographers would have complained. If not, then it's a prop.

Going back to the MM clip, I never knew the rumored story behind the clip so I assumed Mari was directly making fun of Ayu. Yes, it is funny, but it's a crude joke to play. I see it as jeaoulsy. Mari was probably jealous about Ayu's fame and popularity and wanted to get her share of fame also. It's stupid to see how people will turn to mockery for attention.

just a little bit more info to add to to nmskalmn:

MM group consists of some popular indepentdent singer like goto maki and Matsuura Aya....who orginally comes from MM but got so popular themselves that they sing independently....but still under Tsunku

just an aside about Tsunku:
i believe he was part of a popular j-rock group in the late 80's to early 90's called "Sha-Ra-Q" (or something similar)....but then the band dismissed later...and Tsunku started the MM...and makes tones of $$ ever since...hehe...
