I may very well be seeing Xiu Xiu in two months. Woooooooooooooooooooo! Frellin' love 'em - so I'm probably going. Sufjan Stevens is coming in a little while as well, but he's playing in Amsterdam which is quite far away - Xiu Xiu is playing there as well, but I'm a bigger fan of them than of Sufjan. If he'd be playing anywhere near here, I'd be going, but right now it'd just be way too expensive. >_<

My roommate's going to the Decemberists when they come to the city. She's going with her bro. She's uber-excited.
I don't listen to them.
Now if Bond came to the city... that would be exciting.

I'm going to Matt Good too!!! I'll see you there!

I just saw Oasis last night and it was amazing!!! Definitly the best concert I've ever been to. Better than Stereophonics. I love Oasis so much. The crowd was awesome we all sang to Dont Look Back in Anger, it was sweet

ayuhanabi... are you going to The Kilers? I'm seeing them next month

I wanted to go to see Franz to, but they're not coming by on their tour. I'm hoping they'll be around for a christmas show a local radio station does, because that's why they came last year and they were amazing! Have fun!

I am absolutely IN LOVE with the decemberists! I'm really sad they're not coming near me :/ Have you ever listened to them? They're really good, I'd highly recommend them

For both of those artists: I would go to see them in Chicago, but they're both going to Chicago on weekdays which doesn't work with school.. :/

It turns out I have heard the Decemberists. I just didn't know what I was listening to. They're not bad, but that one song about the prostitute has some creepy lyrics.

Jet opened at the Oasis concert, they were pretty good. I like the songs "timothy" and "lazy gun"

Haha, which one? I think there are a couple. "On the Bus Mall" you mean? There are a few weird lines in there, but the music is so great. What I love most about them is the theatricality in their music. It's a common quality in the music that I really love.

That was last year.

Anyway, I'm seeing Iron & Wine + Calexico on May 16, Pearl Jam (my girlfriend's favourite band) by the end of August, and I hope to catch some other stuff as well (most notably Architecture in Helsinki).

I want to go see Dog Fashion Disco, Tub Ring and Look What I Did (all touring together; three of my favorites), but they neglected to come to Connecticut this tour. Anyway, two days ago I bought my ticket for the Shakira concert at the Mohegan Sun Arena on September 4th. Actually, my mom bought them. They're ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS EACH. And it figures that the concert on Connecticut is the most expensive. Oh, well.
